It’s not a bad movie by any stretch, but it’s not very accurate at all. Only things that are accurate about it is that there was an African tribe with the same name that had female warriors. Even the training scenes were in accurate as those female warriors were mostly enslaved and received no training whatsoever. They also we’re not fighting to stop the slave trade at the time, they were the biggest enslavers in Africa. They were so bad, that out of all slaves that ended up in the modern day United States, 20 to 25% came from these guys alone. I’m glad you enjoyed the movie, I wish I could but glorifying slave, traders like this come does. He’s a original lead actress dropped out of the film when she found out the actual history behind the tribe the film was going to portray
