Ingredients
1 tsp unsalted butter
1 ear corn
½ cup whole milk
2-3 Tbsp sweetened condensed milk
½ tsp sugar
Sprinkles for garnish (rainbow or chocolate)
Directions
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add corn and cook until just done (corn should be bright yellow and still a bit crunchy). Cool and cut corn kernels off the cob. Add corn, butter, sugar, and both milks to a pot and heat until butter has melted and is incorporated. Add cheese and stir to melt. Serve topped with more cheese and sprinkles!
Bor Bor Pot
Ingredients
3 large ears corn
3 ½ cups water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup tapioca pearls (clear kind. looks white, but when cooked it will be clear)
1 can coconut milk
1 cup sugar
Directions
1. Soak the tapioca pearls in water for 10 minutes.
2. With a knife, lightly shred the corn into a bowl. Don’t shred them too thick.
3. Put the corn in a pot followed by water and salt and let it boil for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
4. Rinse the pearls well. You don’t want the starch from the pearls. (Kinda like washing rice)
5. Add in the pearls, coconut milk, and sugar to your pot of corn. Stir and let it boil for 2 minutes.
6. After 2 minutes of boiling, you are done! Serve in a bowl and enjoy. It is best eaten warm!
