Well the other guy did say he saw 36 shells go through the gun, so 18 + 36 = 54 total shells ejected. He shot 13 times giving us 67 shells, and another 57 other shells left in his four shell magazine. 18 + 36 = 54, 54 + 13 = 67, 67 + 57 = 124 124 shells crammed into a 4 shell magazine... Edit: I recounted the ejected shells, I counted 24 so! He had 148 shells crammed into a four shell magazine

Because you never see them in the same shot together they probably filmed each part separately. So not only did he keep his finger off the trigger, he assumed the gun was loaded and didn't point it at another person.

I was watching a 20/20 report once on avoiding robbers and apparently having a “beware of dog sign” actually helps a little. You don’t even need to actually have a dog. Robbers would rather pick a place that’s less likely to have a noisy animal to alert neighbors and the homeowner

Fun fact: before Gus started shooting, 18 shells were ejected from the gun.

Björn Fellhanded might be different on your shotgun, but on mine the slide release is placed right next to the trigger guard where it can easily be actuated while your trigger finger is in the trigger guard.
