KneesOverToes KZfaq channel kinda did this whole concept years ago for training the ligaments to remove knee pain. There are exercise for shoulders, hips, and vertical leaps.

It is not as hard as many think. I am 76 with a bunch of health issues and run backward for decades as part of daily exercise, not a mile, of course. Notice that the left and right sideward run and on one lag run are a part of regular routine, and I'm likely the fastest man older 70.
