She is very responsible with her money. This is the most impressive one I’ve seen. And she paid $90,000 out of pocket for a down payment on a house 👍🏾👍🏾

I think it's taboo because people don't talk about money because they are bad with it and don't want to be judged. Also, people don't realize where their money should be going and what they should be striving for. I more often wonder what someone does for a living to earn such a salary so i could possible strive for that in my future. not everyone thinks like, but it's a good place to start.

Thats me! I just graduated last December, I make 73k before taxes; plus yearly bonuses, profit sharing, and 100% 401k match. I have 47k in student debt(my job pays the interest each month as benefit), 20k car debt. and 8k in credit card debt. My bf who lives in a different state pays my utilities. I live on my own and do pay rent, insurance etc. Hope that helps. All in all I save about 27$ a month after all my expenses are paid😭

Topaz Nora you must live in a high cost of living state, because I make about 13k less, with similar expenses with 10k in credit card debt, 50k car lease, 45k in student loan debt, pay all my utilities and rent (live by myself), and still able to put about $500 a month away for savings. Not to mention that I do not live paycheck to paycheck, and go on about 2-3 vacations a year, fully paid for by myself.

Well, people in a relationship bring value how they can. She brings little with physical healthly attraction. Wealth is a value to bring to the table. I would say not a great one to bring to the table, but it happens frequently. The guys must bring physical attraction? Not necessarily. Women value emotional strength over physical attractiveness when men value physical attraction over intelligence/emotional strength.

if her partner does nothing why would he be her partner? he obviously has to give her something that she values, and because she can make money on her own maybe she needs something else. that being said, maybe everyone has something they can give and just because society (and you) think he doesn't have anything worthwhile doesn't mean he's not worth something to someone.

so i'm noticing that everyone who has been interviewed have a very diverse range in salaries and are all very good at budgeting. All of them seem happy and despite the different salaries, they usually spend 2-3 k on themselves. this just shows that a higher salary doesn't generally mean a happier life, just more financial security.

So... What exactly does the partner do? She's the breadwinner, she manages the household, she does all the heavy lifting, she buys groceries, he only does the laundry, plus she has to buy him comic books?? I mean, I guess if she's happy but I'd rather date a real man that can hold his own and not a man-child, but hey, that least she's not living in 1955. 🙄🙄🙄
