the fact that she cuts the shapes out herself cooks it herself does the design herself and puts it together herself is insane and she only gets 1 break thats truly insane i dont even feel like an artist now

This is quite astonishing! Well done. My family used to make our own gingerbread houses. Awesome activity for little kids. Clearly will never reach this level of architectural genius.

Glorious! 👏🏻 I wonder if some simple 3D design software & a 3D printer could help her model the templates easier & without as much tweaking needed? That might save her some time & stress during the holidays.

Depends on whether or not she is a tactile thinker. Sometimes people can process information better working with different materials and their hands vs a mouse/keyboard/computer screen. Juhani Pallasmaa is a Finnish architect that wrote beautifully about it in his book, The Thinking Hand

I would spend SO much more time decorating lol. I want to add so much color and texture and design! I feel like she builds an amazing structure but that would be my favourite part :)

Their popularity rose when the Brothers Grimm wrote the story of Hansel and Gretel, in which the main characters stumble upon a house made entirely of treats deep in the forest. It is unclear whether or not gingerbread houses were a result of the popular fairy tale, or vice versa.😄😄😄😄

@@jojodroid31 Instead of cutting cardboard by hand. Build the house/model in CAD and have a laser cutter cut out the cardboard pieces.

@@oltedders Did you hit your head after you watched the video? Or maybe you didn't watch the part where she sketches everything in 1:2, then in 1:1 on cardboard and then tries to fit everything together and does a lot of trimming and adjusting.
