While I claim no expertise, I’ve played vanquish soul in master duel since release and the VS duel definitely felt like an absolute throw to me

It was. They had a had full of attributes and didn't use either of his on board monsters MP2 to make the link. With the link he could have specialed Madlove to get the trap, and with the burn from the trap + burger he had game on board during opponents standby phase. Actually looking again the trap in and of itself would just end the game on activation with 3x elements. It was just bad play and/or thrown.

That and I don’t think he was at five summons yet he absolutely could’ve put a little more on board in MP1 as insurance and then burned with Borger in Draw for game

@@nathanmurillo1767 just cause codantdister had one bad experience with VS now it's all of a sudden a "bad deck" , every single duel I've had with it my opponent has quit on their turns because I'm comboing like crazy and just not letting em play

Which in all honesty is how most fighting games go, seeing as VS is based off fighting games, the decks play style makes sense

Watching F.A. Replay is always satisfying. I like the increased level effect and the sound effect. It feels like the sound of a car machine. But, this deck is really annoying in real-time play, no matter what your side, either the user or opponent, this deck makes you tired really fast.

Question, isn't Borrelend Dragon negation permanent as long as LADDragon stays on field? So it basically turns into a Normal monster?

Correct, as long as that specific negated monster stays on the field its negated and turned into cardboard permanently.

Yeah, but it's better to not have something with 800 Atk in face-up Atk position with stuff like the Happy Purrelys and Terahertz running around.

It probably more worse than being vanilla. Light and darkness dragon effect is mandatory so it just directly chain to anything so it can chainblock your opponent cards if you want to use negate like baronne or savage that need to chain directly to effect. It will also activate even if it didn't have atk/def to reduce or even while it is negate so it play into ttt too

TL:DR Yeah... I quit playing when pendulums came put. Like the amount of OPd first turns were worse then quasar meta. And like no sets are unique. They all do the same thing now. 15 summons, 14 searches, multi negates, and power houses. Where is the uniqueness? Lol...fun to watch the guy win in 1-3 turns. But I wouldn't want to play against it. Just not fun.

Hey I'm in the bathroom taking a dump and I have something in mind, what about a new type of cards, similar to current pendulum monster but instead of monster and spell combined they combined it with trap cards so you can set the monster in the back row for trap card effect and also can normal or special summon it, idk it my help the relevancy of trap cards more, but I mean...
