5 жыл бұрынHey Everyone, Replacing the Serpentine belt in these trucks can be a pain! I found this neat trick myself when struggling to hold the tensioner in place and get the belt on too. I thought i would share it with everyone. Hope It Helps. Josh

Hey Josh, Video is great. Non a/c gates belt K080653HD worked perfectly. Had to mess with it a little but fit great. I almost gave up except for your video. Thank you! John I drive a 2002 2500 Cummins.

How well did that belt fit? Im reading that the non ac belt wont work on factory AC trucks it like 1/4 to short

The Non AC belt fit perfect. I ran it until i fixed my bad tensioner with no issues. I still carry it with me at all times just in case i would ever have an issue with my AC i can bypass it. I think they tell you it doesn’t work because they want to sell you the ac bypass pulley and have you remove the compressor and bolt in there 150$ kit they sell through the auto parts stores. Lol

I maybe going insane...but aint the belt tentioner pulley smooth and when u do the non ac belt make it that the rib side of the belt rides the smooth pulley then? If so doesnt that wear the belt out?

I did the same thing to my truck to. I never understood why people waste the money on that dum pulley step up.
