Thank you very much for the video. It worked for me. I saw a lot of instructions for the pre-facelift version of the ntg 1 (I think that's what it's called 🤷🏻), but it didn't work for me. Some said that it doesn't work at all with the engineer mode on the facelift ntg 1 radio, but with your video I was able to find out and now I know which version I have 🙌🏼

Yours is the only method to get to the engineering mode menu that I have seen. And sadly mine also has the update that means I can't get DVD in motion. Was for the kids to watch through the gap rather than myself. I can live without Peppa pig

Although you are correct that the Dr Dist., Backdoors, and Reg Code were removed from the 30 Week of 2006, however all you need to do is simply downgrade the firmware to Week 17 of 2004 to reinstate the function. After that, you may change the settings you mentioned, and after you change them to suit your needs, you may upgrade again to the 30/2006 firmware and the settings will remain.
