So I made this video to give a little bit of comfort for the people who haven't yet received there skins! I give some advice and some news about what's happening but sadly there isn't any instant fix well that I know of. Just be patient and you will get your skins and make sure to do what I say in the video if you haven't already!

Ok so I didn’t know the account merge feature wasn’t quite working. I think it’s because so many people are trying at the same time. Blizzard really need to fix everything asap

I remember the years of some of the greatest grinding ever for these skins and cosmetics, I really can't imagine losing it all. Thank you for making this video though, this gives me and I believe some more people here some comfort. Let's be patient folks..

I was 270,000 in the migration queue and then it said my account was ready to be merged after a day of waiting and to close my game. So I did and then when I logged back in I’m all of a sudden 470,000 in the migration queue. Yay 😐

I logged on during the first hours of release and almost immediately panicked because I thought I had permenantly lost 4-5 years worth of skins, I hope the patch comes out and actually fixes the issue

This might be a stupid question but does it have to be the email associated with youre Xbox account? I was rushing through the login to play and just put my regular email I did the full account merge process but the option is still on my main menu so I’m kinda panicking thinking I fucked it up lol

Can anyone help me? I played overwatch on my ps4 but I didn’t make a battle net account, and recently I got a pc and was playing overwatch 1, so do I need to go to overwatch 2 on my ps4 and merge so that it can connect to my pc as well? Or do I need to connect it on the battle net account on pc and from there when I load overwatch 2 it should start merging???

If you’re on PS5 click on the Overwatch2 that says “PS4” and it’ll automatically put you in a queue to merge your account. Worked for me 👍🏻

I meant to account merge but I completely forgot and I didn't know Overwatch 2 was releasing the 4th of October. I'm really depressed and the merge accounts button sin't working on the Overwatch 2 main menu at the moment.

@@rockytb7 I just hope I'll be able to merge my old Overwatch 1 account after all this is over the my Overwatch 2 account doesn't overwrite it when I merge. Honestly I don't even know why Blizzard had to pull the plug on Overwatch 1 and instead just make Overwatch 2 as a completely new separate game.

@@jwwprod3862 I’m sure Ow2 was supposed to be it’s own game, and wasn’t their supposed to be a main co-op campaign or story atleast. On Xbox it literally still shows up as Ow Origins Edition. Ridiculous

After waiting forever to get to the main menu, I find that my hero's are locked and none of my stats/progress/anything came over from oberwatch 1. All my skins are gone. 600 hours of Overwatch gone. Account merge on main screen does nothing when selected. Tried to play a quick play game, made it 1 minute before disconnected and unable to reconnect to servers.

Hello, I have played overwatch since 2016 on PlayStation and gained a lot of items and progress. In 2020 I switched to pc, and I started a new account. In 2022 you can merge PlayStation account with pc. I tried to do that, but I didn’t work. I think I reverse merge, so my pc account is on my PlayStation, and I have lost the original PlayStation account. I think it is because I downloaded ow2 on my PlayStation and then I had nothing because you need to merge to get your account. But I merge pc account to PS account, so I only got my pc account witch I don’t have any progress from original account. Can you help me with getting my progress back

my problem isn't me not having my skins, it's that I have to go through the new player experience again and unlock all the characters because it won't recognize that I had an overwatch 1 account. I merged my accounts before overwatch 2 dropped and have confirmed my account merge several times and it still won't unlock the characters. is anyone else having this problem?

Mines say completed it took about 2hours but I haven’t got anything back I try resetting but when I loaded I had to redo the queue and waited another 4hours and still haven’t gotten mine golden guns or skins
