A man came to me who had stroke. He was in charge of the account department. He couldn't sign the cheques that was piled up. He lamented that his job is gone. I prayed for him, took a paper and pen and asked him to confess - I can sign my signature through Jesus Christ that strengthens me. Within 3 hours he could sign his signature perfectly. We must act the word of God when we confess it.

I’m so grateful for this man… What a precious gift to humanity and for God. He helps us all so much. ❤

This came just in time. I have been going through tough times, had cancer twice, alive only through Jesus' grace. But it has been hard to surrender to Him, and I have been struggling at times and not always yeilding. Lord God, please help me yeild, to be your faithful servent, who does what you want me to do in your power and not my own. I am quite exsusted from trying to do things in my own power, but I have also been abit afraid of disappointing you, and feared being rejected by man. I thank you Lord that you are gentle and kind, and you will not give up on me even though I have given up on myslef many times❤ Please uphold me by your power and let my heart not be divided, but be fully loving you, obeying and surrendering to you.

When we cease striving in the flesh to become more like jesus, and its a practiced discipline that is often trial and error before we get it, but with the Holy Spirits help and our willingness to die to our own efforts to help him prune us, we don't have a clue how this is done and in what order and what is to be done every minute of the day, the Lord who is our maker works even when we sleep, if we allow him total control over every thing in us, totally abandoned to him in child like trust, does it hurt to die of course it does, but it yeilds the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been exercised by it, i want nothing less then if im sitting in a jail cell for my faith, that i have his peace and a listening ear that can hear his voice, a mind that can recall scripture and a voice that can truly praise and worship with a heart of love and gratitude, this is my life goal and passion.

The following explanation of my understanding of the old and new covenants is not intended as dogma. In fact, I haven’t known many people who have explained this subject in precisely this way.. I subscribe to the doctrine of salvation by grace alone through faith alone. I believe that principle applies to every aspect of salvation - justification, sanctification and glorification. Jesus is the lamb slain from the foundation of the world (I Peter 1:19 & 20; Revelation 13:8). I understand that to mean that Adam, Noah, Abraham, etc. were saved as we are saved, namely that God’s grace was and is the source and means of salvation, our faith is the vehicle or conduit of salvation and our faith is God’s gift to us - not our gift to him. (Ephesians 2:8 & 9) I think the word, “it”, in verse 8 refers to faith.) For the promise that he should be heir of the world, was not to Abraham or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. (Romans 4:13) But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. (Galatians 3:11 Paul is quoting Habakkuk 2:4.) I consider the promise in Genesis 3:15 - I will put enmity between thee and the woman etc. - to be the first expression of this principle of salvation by grace through faith but I admit to being a bit surprised when I tried to describe it as the prototype of the new covenant and found that my spell checker had the word, “protoevangelium”, in it. I think of the old covenant as a relationship with the creator based on what people do or promise to do or try to do. The promise of the Hebrews at Sinai can be considered the prototype of the old covenant - “All that the LORD hath said we will do and be obedient.” (Exodus 24:7 See also verse 3.) If the new covenant is actually older than the old covenant, why would the old be called old and the new be called new? Because the old covenant was ratified with the blood of animals at Sinai BEFORE the new covenant was ratified with the blood of Jesus at Calvary. For it is written that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory.....(Galatians 4:22-14) These things represent two covenants, the one from mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage. Many people have read this passage and given it so little thought that the reference to Jerusalem is seen as the antithesis of Sinai and the covenant which gendereth to bondage is seen as the ten commandments. Well, no, The antithesis of Hagar and Sinai is the Jerusalem which is above (verse 26) or the new Jerusalem. (Revelation 21:2) “The Jerusalem which now is” is in bondage with her children. (Galatians 4:25) The gospel was in the promise to Abraham. (Galatianans 3:8) Which is why I believe there is only one gospel. Any attempt to apply the promise to Abraham to anyone who has not the faith of Abraham is to nullify the gospel. If ye are Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:29) This is the only way I have been able to make sense of the references to the old and new covenants in Hebrews 8. If I could be persuaded that the teachings of Jesus were/are antithetical to the Pentateuch I would not be able to consider myself a Christian. If I could be persuaded that there was something faulty with the Decalogue, I would not have any faith in the God of the Bible. My understanding of the old and new covenants resolves those difficulties.

James 4:4, KJV 1 John 2:15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters: Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God, the world and money. No one is justified by keep the 10 commandments ALONE since we are saved by grace. But keeping the 10 commandments is still a requirement to salvation since we are judged by works. That is because sin is the breaking of any of the 10 commandments and the wages for unforgiven sin is death and the soul that sinneth shall surely die.
