One of the most common behaviors of people is excessive focus, narrowing attention on what makes them pay attention to it. Thus, the act of focusing on a problem actually throws the brain even further out of balance. We studied this and found that by analyzing the problem, circumstances, conditions in the context of emotions that you feel under the influence of stress hormones, you worsen the functioning of your brain each time, because excessive analysis leads it to a higher state of thinking and a higher beta-rhythm of brain activity. Such narrow focus leads to the brain becoming a house divided against itself. We thought: why not do the opposite? Instead of focusing on the cause, on something material, physical, shift the focus of attention. After all, stress hormones actually intensify feelings and make us materialistic. Matter becomes a problem when it comes to survival, to what may happen around the corner. We decided to teach people something else.
