that's what I thought too. Give some space to have time to react to Q3. In general, I think trying to kite yone and yasuo is the way to go as camille, instead of trying to all in (I suck at doing this tho lol). Like, camille's damage in all loaded into Q2, while they have much more DPS. And they are squishy so you should be able to kill if you get 2~3 Q2s in the fight without giving them opportunity to shred you + heal up with their high attack speed and multiple Qs.

You can also look to either cheese them early (wait in a bush, take ignite, get an XP advantage) if it's a positive matchup, if your opponent doesn't have a dash then they will 100% have to flash your E which you can follow or back off, or if your opponent is a ranged champion with a dash, you need to wait for that dash to be used aggressively before you commit to the fight, otherwise just jump away, for most ranged champions your Q is lower CD than their utility spells, so you need I think Jax is one of the easiest melee champions to play into ranged matchups, with a very few exceptions like Gnar (who nobody seems to play anymore but was a really solid Jax counter back in the day) where he really, really has to mess up for you to ever be able to engage on him, and if he's playing well any time you get to engage he's going to have Mega Gnar anyway. Jayce can also be a hard one if he plays it well, because he can dictate the engagement with his E in melee form, and his Q obviously goes right through the counterstrike, so you have to wait until he engages to E, then Q onto him after he knocks you back. At the same skill level I think a Jayce has the advantage because he can just watch for the E timer to knock you back, and if you hold your E then he's going to get 3 empowered melee autos on you plus his full combo which is way more damage than you should be able to get in return. Those are the two hardest I can think of outside of some total counter like Karma (harasses with Q outside your Q range, shields when you engage, leashes you if you get on top so you can never fully commit), which is just utterly brutal for any melee champion, and even ranged champions as well (you can literally win against every champion in the game with Karma if you play it well, it's absolutely disgusting).

I think all the matchups I mentioned are also harder than Teemo, people see Teemo as a hard counter but he's more like a pick that just removes toplane impact entirely if you don't play around it. Teemo doesn't scale well compared to most champions, he has no teamfight potential unless super fed and his shrooms can just oneshot people, and the champions purpose is to make you useless. He's only useful himself when he's fed and has taken you out of the game. Your objective in that lane is to simply prevent Teemo from pushing you behind, if you can stay even, you outscale him massively and can easily split against hin You can E his blind if you time it right and you will 100% win all ins when you have your ultimate with equal components, let alone later when you have a complete Sunderer, plus Teemo players often seem to just focus on poking you instead of managing the wave so you can always assume it will be pushing into you unless they are the fabled decent Teemo main. This more of a "skill matchup" (it's not really that skilled on Teemo's side, they just need to understand not to use Q until after your E ends, but if you play it right they should be losing the trade anyway) where whoever lands their CC first wins the trade, and what you need to focus on really is playing around your E-W cooldown and trying to bait the blind out. You don't want to fight Teemo early on if possible, but you should be prepared to because most Teemo players are insane and won't stop trying to push you under turret so they can poke you. You can control your jungler, so you will absolutely have to fight the little rat at some point, and I would say you can absolutely win as long as you stay aware, build some sustain (D shield second wind is absolutely necessary and will get you through the laning phase), and only all in after you recall, if he's been harassing you down you will most likely lose, so you need to play it safe around the Q blind cooldown. You might even want to get a Tiamat (it's only for a matchup like this where your opponent doesn't have aoe wave clear and really wants you under your turret or frozen outside theirs for harassment) at some point just so you can e and insta shove waves such that Teemo can't push them back under your turret. Which will also allow you to get plates and try to establish a lead. Whatever it takes to survive until you have an item (Divine Sunderer Jax will wreck Teemo if you are relatively close in XP, and with Shojin he's going to cry as you just Counterstrike every blind). The entire point of that pick is just to make you useless, so do whatever you need in order to stay in the game and get the necessary gold and xp for your item. Pushing Teemo under turret and then playing for neutral objectives or jungle camps is honestly a good idea sometimes, the less time you are in lane with him while expanding a gold lead, the less useful Teemo becomes. Kayle, ADCs top, and other picks tend to not be able to just harass you for free if you play it well, your CDs are lower so you can advance with counterstrike to bait their dash if they have one (just make sure you don't fuck the wave with your E aoe), then Q on them as counterstrike is about to come back up to get a favourable trade (q, auto, w, auto, e, back away under the e so they can't auto you in return) or to kill them if they mess up (most people flash as soon as you hit E in my experience, rather than waiting until towards the end, so you can predict that and follow with your own flash if you have good reactions). So either look for an early all in if they make mistakes, or play the lane for later, you will absolutely be able to kill them unless you give them a massive lead, so just don't afk jump on them without thinking about the matchup.

except if he hits q3 he can insta r and its undodgeable. obviously dodging either q3 or r with cam r is preferable but its an educated guess. Only other possible improvements are not rushing the e to engage maybe starting with w instead and ulting sooner to get more damage on autos off, but tbh a lot of that fight is random because youre guessing where and when he presses q like 6 times.

Everyone gets to masters by spamming videos and games. Irelia riven leesin and high skill ceiling champs are perfect. Trick you can do is make habits by writing stuff you want to do in the game in a note and read it a couple of times

@@pureaut1sm True, but I burnt out at low Masters when I tried just spamming games & didn't play League for a long while after the season ended. I'm more interested in playing to improve right now so I can basically guarantee high Masters every split without wanting to quit the game mid-grind. I'm OTPing Camille & learning Fiora on the side, so I'm curious to know if Alois' Patreon content is less suited for me & I'd be better off looking at the courses instead.
