Hopefully the buff makes it a bit better but I feel people are being dramatic about it's weaknesses maybe a slight attack speed buff so it can kill 1 elixir skeletons just so the Evo isn't deadly like that

I’m just imaging a deck that focus’s on getting chip damage with 4 spells a building 2 cycle cards and a dart goblin. Becoming stupid with the cannoneer’s ability to take care of medium health threats

I wish they added the opposite of the cannoneer first, like something that attacks fast but has low dps. Small cheap cards and swarm were already way overrepresented in the meta, and the cannoneer only encourages it

I highly recommend using % of tower health when comparing the two since that's what matters here. Say a goblin gets 4 hits on princess tower and 3 on cannon tower, because of the difference in health this does more damage in % health to the cannon tower even though it takes less overall damage.

I played against a cannoneer user with a graveyard deck and they did surprisingly well despite being hard countered so I guess there is a learning curve to it.. Still funny that tombstone's gonna absolutely wreck it tho

Man, everytime i play against graveyard while using one of my cannoneer decks everything becomes extra dificult, i get very surprised when i still win most times, i think it is just that the opponent tends underestimate my ability defend it effectively

Cannoneer should gain bonus defense when it doesn't shoot enemy so it can slightly tolerate out of range spells or damage

I think that if you buff it’s hitspeed to that of a hunter (2.2) then it would be somewhat viable Although it’s not bad in some decks, it’s still so much better to use the princess tower

Nah bro it is broken op against egiant, it looks like it is not that good against egiant when you don’t defend against the egiant but if you like archers behind the tower egiant barely gets any dmg. Not only egiant but tanks too and if it gets a buff you just trigger a graveyard meta

1:24 you failed to mention that yes, it does kill the troops faster, but comparing health.... princess tower has 2086 health points left, cannoneer has 1972, which 100 points can still be detrimental in a serious game.

See now if they dont come up with a splash tower so its almost like a rock paper scissors. Cannoneer is good for tanks and single troops, princess is solid middle ground, and maybe wiz tower for spam troops
