Guys, please you need to make the new "Lightning" Level persistent if you want to have your level all of the time persistent. You can do that in the Level Window.

Thank you so much. Something what is worth to add and what is standard in gamedev studios and companies is appropriate naming the levels with _P _S _M etc.

please show me how to speed up the loading of a large map, it takes a very long time to load when opening it

That's gonna depend on how much is in the level and the lods I believe along with culling distances as far as I know there is no simple way to just optimize loading I think you're going to have to go through your assets and modify them accordingly

Also if possible use modular buildings that can be assembled piece by piece instead of complete models modular can load pieces at a time and if things are blocking The view it won't spawn those objects if you use a complete one it spawns the whole thing even when not in view which eats into loading time

world partition also has sublevels. Shouldda ran with it.

Bro when I am opening unreal engine and when I reach the tab of project in which all project are listed and error is coming gpu crashed or d3d Device removed Use -d3ddebug to enable the D3D debug option check log for gpu state information

Hi mate, just a friendly advice on what's you missing compare to others bigger channels. At the beginning when you say what we are making in this tutorial it would be great to show how and what are we actually doing, like final product and then go into the tutorials.

how do you load unload levels in game?Is it the same as data layers?

If you are needing to use world partition for larger landscapes: Data Layers might be a good way to do this as well. You can save lighting and material information in a data layer. this is how valley of the ancient demo has done theirs as far as I understand. Some environment asset makers on the marketplace as also use this to showcase different time scenes like night vs daytime vs dusk. You can also use data layers in your level blueprint to further drive new logic. Maybe you want a character to walk through a field and something spawns in, unloads things behind. Maybe you want do trigger a transformation of the sky scene for a battle arena effect. But mainly for large words this seems super useful For smaller worlds or just levels, this tutorial is perfect, since it takes away the complication of dealing with world partition and just focuses on if you need something added, put it in a sublevel. People use to do this trick in unreal 4 to seperate things like water, and lighting, glad it still exist, its just have to find it now

@@MrPangahas yes, just select your landscape in the outline and in the details panel there is a section to turn your landscape into a nanite version. It's just a checkbox that says "Enable Nanite'
