How to ADD and Use MULTIPLE TWITTER Accounts

You can have multiple Twitter accounts on the same device and easily jump between them. That's a great way to keep your personal Twitter and business Twitter account separate.
It's also a great way to manage multiple Twitter accounts.
To add additional accounts:
In the top menu, tap your profile icon.
Tap the more icon
From here you can create a new account or add an existing account.
Once you've added your additional account(s), you can toggle between them by long-pressing your profile icon.
You can also switch accounts from your top menu by tapping your profile icon, then tapping the smaller, additional profile icon(s) next to the more icon.

Hi, I don't have the option the "The Three Dots" displaying after choosing "More" has twitteer changed this since?

To everyone who can't find the option, I had the same issue (and went crazy with it). But it somehow appeared at the bottom left of the page for me. I have absolutely no idea how or when, but it now works. I had switched to dark mode - maybe it's related to this? Hope this helps!

What issues did you have? It appears that Twitter tries to force Mobile number registration. Are you suggesting you can add multiple accounts under a main account? Thanks

Helpful but you need to update it with the change to the More button. See comments below. Also, is there a way to set up a second account without needing another email address/ phone number? I'd rather just have a second Twitter account and not a second webmail account too. If I can.

This appears to be out of date now, although Twitter gives you an option to register with different email or mobile, Twitter appears to be forcing you to register new mobile. I had multiple accounts locked that were under same mobile number simply because I got banned for 12 hours, one of the Twitter Snitches (employees) must have noticed I had multiple accounts.....I can't stand snitches....

In order to jump between accounts you have to log out of your 1st account and create 2nd one, Right? Once you created your 2nd account you can link them together by clicking add an existing account, so you can jump between, right?

I faced the same problem.I changed the desktop resolution to fit more elements on my page. I found my profile image on the bottom left corner. When I clicked on that, there was an option to add an account. Hope this helps.

I tried to create a second account but by putting the same email i have for my main account because i want to get the notifications that may pop up send to my email as usual but it’s not working it says that this email is already being used wich makes sense but how do i get notifications if i put a random email for my second account...do u know what i mean like does it make sense ? Great video but l'm having small issue going on over here. You're saying that in order to link accounts you have to add an existing account. Right? I'm following your video but after l tap on 'add an existing account' l tried phone, email, username than my password and nothing. No second account. Are you saying that in order to link my accounts l have to log out of my 1st one, create 2nd account with different email and that sign out and log back into my 1st account back again and than link THAN LINK them together??? I have tried everything and from your quick video it seems like it. You say if you do not have an account, creat one and than link them, so you can switch between. Let know plz. Thanks.

Hey Darlene, I have just spent three hours trying to do this as well! I am using Google Chrome as my browser. But I had the same problems, no dots etc, the layout looks totally different to what's in this video. What I had to do was install the Twitter app on my computer (laptop, not phone or tablet). By using the app to access Twitter and clicking that very bottom image suddenly it looks like this - which is also how it looks on my mobile app - and I was able to add accounts/log out of other accounts on my computer which is what I wanted to do. Sharing in case it assists! :)

Found a solution - on pc log into one account - hover over the left side task bar and scroll down - all the way at the bottom below the 3 dots there is you profile pic - click this to add and manage more accounts

Yeah but what are the consequences? Like for example if somebody blocks me on one of my accounts then do all 5 of my accounts get blocked by that person? That's the whole reason I got a second account was to be able to still view conversations that got me blocked due to the person I was talking to was apparently not smart enough to understand my argument (they lost the debate so they blocked me). 😂
