I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.

so can I please ask? after you configure the mic to the camera, how does the audio work out? will I use a mic in my office to talk to the person at the door? and does the person at the door, will he always be able to speak to me freely without any button? such as an intercom system? and on my mobile phone there is a selection for "talk" on a button, while looking at our security system cameras, is that for us to talk to the person at the door??? thanks for any help here as have not worked with this stuff for long.

My power adapter is at the other end of my 30m cable so it would be simpler to use power from camera power connector to mic then from mic back to camera. And cos my cameras are protected by my roof overhang I'm gunna try the pre amp model, thanks for video

My question is: Will he be able to hear me back from inside my house? Is this a two way audio system here in your video? man can do this method only with analog cameras. I also bought this microphone but unfortunately it does not work with Ip cameras. I use a hybrid DVR and use it only in Ip Camera mode as NVR. I could not enable the interface> Encode Video / Audio. I can not click anything. This option, I can only do if I use the DVR in analog mode so connect analog camera. Is that so common that you can not connect an external microphone with IP cameras?

I am getting distortion in cctv audio after just few seconds of play back, the audio is perfect for only 2 secs, then there is a gradual increase in distorting sound, how to fix it? does anyone have any idea about this?
