I had to produce my first ever presentation, just 10 minutes long, for my history degree and being in my 50's and not really an IT guru, had absolutely no idea how to do any of this. Nice tutorial. Is there a way to preview (with music) a long presentation with music playing across slides without starting back at the first slide each time, or where you have the music starting? It gets very time consuming when adjusting length, etc. when you have to keep watching from the beginning.

One of the clearest, easiest to understand tutorials I've ever seen. Is it possible to mute the music on certain slides? If so, that might enhance the value of this terrific video.

Thank you for this tutorial. I was able to share 84 photos (101MB total) with audio as you instructed, at 0.5 seconds per slide, by saving it as a MP4 file which came out to be 16MB, which is easily sharable in Messenger, Hotmail, and Gmail.

Great video Kevin. Very helpful. One tip that I figured out on my own was that adding additional pieces of music is easy. You just keep clicking Add Audio and it will stack one on top of the other in the order you added. BUT... you have to unclick Loop Until Stopped because otherwise it will play the 1st and 2nd together once the 1st is done and then the 1st, 2nd and 3rd together...on and on.

Kevin, I am trying to repurpose audio content from a podcast by adding the audio to PP with images to then upload to KZfaq. I have the exact amount of time of the audio and figured with a 20 sec per slide setting I would need 180 slides for each hour of recording. However, no matter what the length of the audio is, and the math works, once I save the PP in MP4 format, the amount of slides are either way too long for the audio (and it is inappropriate to loop it as it's a podcast) or when i adjust it it's too short and it's taking me a minimum of 4 tries to get it just right. And because it takes a very long time for the PP to save as an MP4 file this project is taking way too long so I must be missing something and I cannot figure it out. Can you assist with this? Thank you in advance

can you insert more than one song? I am trying to add a playlist of songs to a picture slideshow so that the slideshow plays over and over until the playlist is done. I can seem to add more than one song and have them play one right after another not linked to the slide timing. HELP!!!!

Very good video. However, I have a question regarding playing background music over several short videos that I have inserted into a PowerPoint presentations. Everything records fine while I am in the PowerPoint mode, and the playback while in PowerPoint is good. However, when I convert the PowerPoint file to a MP4 file, the music occasionally has skips when I do MP$4 playbacks. Have you had any experiences with this?

I wanted to play background music to specific slide only with some other text and object animations however the music has to be played in full before it goes to the next animation. I had to manually click to trigger the next animation but what if I wanted it to save it as mp4? Edit: I've managed to make it to work by placing the music at the top order then set it to automatically then set the next 2 animation to play with previous but with added delays where I input a lesser delay on the first animation.
