Instagram has an option to put different layers, just hold the picture for a second, than there are two icons, swipe to the left and the picture will stay behind the repost This way you also avoid the annoying part on the bottom of the screen

I had to make sure instagram had permission to use my photos and videos. Idk if that's the problem
