How To Add eSIM On Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra

The Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup all support eSIMs and in this video, I'll be showing you how to add an eSIM to any of them. I'm using the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, but this method will apply across the board.
Follow the instructions in the video add the eSIM profile from your service provider and allow it to set up on your Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra. You can add as many eSIM card profiles as you would like.
You can use an eSIM and one physical SIM card, 2 eSIMs, 2 physical SIM cards. Whatever combination you choose, you can only use 2 SIM cards at a time on your phone.

Unfortunately, newer Galaxy devices sold in the US were not intended for use with foreign networks. The Unlocked by Samsung website states that these phones work on multiple US networks, not foreign networks. (eSIM transfers only work in the Americas and Europe for now.)

@@jael4132 Yes, but worldwide service providers are no longer supported. Only AT&T, Metro by T-Mobile, T-Mobile USA, Verizon, and Xfinity are compatible.

You can use both physical and eSIM on the same phone as long as it supports

Sorry, unfortunately the US variants of the Galaxy S23 series are US only in terms of SIM card support. (On the S22 and older devices, the US variants had limited support for foreign SIMs.)

This is a limitation that comes from the rules of the government of China and Taiwan because even Apple with the iPhones make the same thing and unable this feature

@@WebproeducationOrgTechnology The Galaxy S23 Series offers a Dual SIM slot and also has eSIM support. User may use up to two physical SIMs or 1 eSIM & 1 physical SIM at the same time. The Galaxy S23 Series lets you store multiple eSIM profiles, but only one can be used at a time. (taken from samsung website)

I’m here to teach. Also, some Galaxy s23 phones only have one sim slot. So if you want dual sim, you gotta use the eSIM

If you are a frequent traveller then you may need e sims for various locations or countries.

For anyone else mistakenly believing they can do this... (except you lucky folks from less carrier protectionist, consumer hater countries) What kind of phone do you have? Because the way data eSIM sellers describe how to assign call/text/data services to the two SIMs is completely inaccurate for US region Samsung phones, and probably all US region phones. If they show a SIM Manager with options for each SIM to select services (the way it's shown here), take heed. It won’t be the options you see. (I have heard that iPhones have a better chance.) It's all or nothing. There is NO option for selecting your home SIM for Calls and Text, and theirs for Data. The options do not appear in the SIM Manager for US phones. I just want to make sure US users are aware of this and don’t expect to be able to have their home number for calls/texts while having reasonably priced data at the same time.
