Today I’m going to show you a little trick for adding fractions with different denominators or unlike denominators.

To add fractions with different denominators, first, you need to cross multiply. Start by multiplying the first numerator with the second denominator. Then, multiply the first denominator with the second numerator and add these 2 products together to get the numerator of the resulting fractions. Finally, multiply the denominators to get the denominator of the resulting fraction.
And that’s it! Simply the resulting fraction if it’s necessary. See you next lessons.
