Oh I really like the look of this method! I'm following a doll pattern and it advises crocheting a cap and then pulling through two knotted strands. But this method sounds easier and quicker, thank you!

Thank you for this tutorial, now I know "hair" won't be so frightening when I get there. I'd like to offer a hint, the sewing yarn I would loop over my thumb I'm holding down the hair to be attached and that way it wouldn't tangle into the hair to be attached.
