If I wanted to use 3 webcams on a single streamyard session, what is the best way to power those webcams? Clearly I can't run them all from one computer as I would overwhelm the device with too much bandwidth. Is it possible to run 2 webcams (I use Brio) on a single computer without performance issues? Or should I go with one computer per webcam?

This is great, but I wish it was at least included with the 2nd tier plan. Are you working on a layout to have picture in picture? This would be great.

Picture-in-picture is available under the layouts section. Or if there a different type of PiP you are looking for?

@@StreamYard The only PIP I see is if I added my self into the video layout SHIFT+7. The PIP I am talking about is when I can put my face cam in one of the corners of the screen, and my main cam as the full screen cam. This is a very common layout.

I have a wildlife youtube channel based in the Grand Tetons where there's a high concentration of grizzly bears where theres plenty of internet connection so I have been doing livestreams of me driving through the park exploring and looking for wildlife for my viewers. I'm planning on adding a 2nd camera, a sony a7iii with a sony 200-600 zoom lens so I can obtain excellent footage of grizzlies for my viewers this Spring and Summer! I was also wondering if I could also have a 3rd camera and connect a Gopro 9? I havent tested this out yet but was wondering if you could give me some feedback in regards to my plans using streamyard for my livestreams, thanks! Gunner
@StreamYard2 жыл бұрын
That should work. I think the GoPro 9 supports connecting with just a standard cable so that you can use it as a camera. In order to have three cameras, you would probably want to look at something like the ATEM Mini Pro, to be able to switch between multiple cameras. streamyard.com/blog/live-streaming-equipment/how-to-use-atem-mini-pro-with-streamyard/ Christian Karasiewicz 🦆

If you use the secondary camera is does it keep the first ones audio or does it cut the audio off? For instance if i start the show as a monolog then hit thw second camera to have my in studio guest in frame. Toggling between cameras rather than both up at the same time

Thanks

A video capture card isn’t going to work with an iPad. That’s for connecting certain types of cameras to a computer so it can convert the video signal. iPads don’t support using an external camera. Christian Karasiewicz 🦆

Hey Streamyard! Does the extra camera feature work when I am a guest in other person’s livestream? For example, could I join a friend’s livestream and share my second camera as though I were sharing my screen? Would my friend need to have the professional plan, would only I need the professional plan, or would both of us need the professional plan? Thanks!
@StreamYard Жыл бұрын
Hey there! As a guest, even if you have professional, you won't be able to use the extra camera unfortunately. We tested it to make sure, with two of us on professional, and the guest could not use it :( but, you can enter from another window or device to mimic a second camera! Hopefully, that helps! - Katie 🦆

@@StreamYard Thanks Katie! That’s unfortunate to hear, but good to know.
