I love that you did the side sashing last. I do mine that way too but I see a lot of people adding the "block cut" sashing on the ends of the rows. Thanks for this!

Thank You so much! I’ve been working on a hand appliqué Colorado quilt for awhile. Missed last two classes on sashing the 12” pieces. I can’t thank you enough. Especially about the black thread -vs- white showing!

Best sashing tutorial ever! I will try the shorter stitch length as I have been back stitching start and ends as they were pulling apart as I tried to line up each row. Will also try pinning the way you do. Thanks for the great tips.

If the sashing between the rows, or on the long vertical sides measures longer than the fabric I have, can I piece the sash strips?

Wonderful, helpful video. How do you calculate the amount of fabric to buy for the sashing?

Hi, I tried to open your website but could not, it said it could not be found...??? My Q: can I use your sashing directions and put my blocks on point? thanks

All the measuring. I always wonder why we don’t just sew uncut sashing to the edge of the quilt and then cut. Is that wrong?
@gailm14814 жыл бұрын
You will have problems with it being square if you do so.
