Thanks for your program! I understands the intonation on the gitarr when the stable have an angle to the string to compensate the thickness of the string. But on the Mandolin G and A string are longer then D and E. The difference 6mm same as the twentieth freet. The freetbord are diatonikel so the twelfth freet must be in the middle on the string. Thickness, length, sig sag? Can you give me clarity? Thanks in advance.

Hi Ola... If I understand your question I think you are talking about what is known as "compensation". That is the making of the string length longer for the stiffer, larger diameter strings. You might want to read my eBook "The Mandolin Handbook" which discusses this and many other topics in detail. A comment box on KZfaq just will not do the job.
