How To Age Movie Prop Money!

A lot of people have asked where I bought the prop money. I got it from www.strobeprop..., however, recently they switched to a different kind of printing process, making the “bills” look a lot worse. (You can see how they look on their website)

I appreciate your idea of using coffee and I tried doing it the same way however after experimenting I found that after dipping the bill in the coffee mixture I put it directly into the microwave right on the glass plate and microwaved it for about 30sec then flipping it and doing the other side for 30sec and then after letting it cool down I roughed it up by gently wrinkling it up and rubbing it on my counter.

Weight the stack down with something heavy then blow dry it on low heat with a fan I can do about 50k in prop money in 30 minutes to 1 hour with this method

@@Kevokartelyou don’t need to leave it in you have to dunk them in for 10 seconds and let it dry and you have aged prop money!!

If you use a hair dryer to dry out the bills, it will sharpen the looks of the dollar. Thanks for watching!

Don’t rinse it off after. Once you’ve finished dipping it, dry it with a hairdryer. Remove any bits of coffee while you’re drying it.

@@lukerbutter2756 nah man, it’s much better to make the coffee then dip the money in it as you won’t have to deal with the coffee grounds and it will get a more realistic stain

I got them from www.strobeprops.com but that was a while ago now… they’ve since made them a lot worse. The printing on the bills is really bad.

Spray some clothing starch on the fake money winkle up the fake money and let the fake money air dry under a fan for a few hours works every time trust me.

@@ashtonmunzon6340 dont try to buy anything with this because they have serial numbers on the bills and they can get you if one of your bills you bought gets spotted in a store or bank they will trace and find out who bought those bills by the serial numbers and you get years in prison (these prop money pages warn you they’re open for law enforcement investigation on who bought those bills)
