Extra tip: When you get the first touch in the air with the ball let go of your boost and after you hit the ball you can feather boost to get closer to the ball.

@@icebox1954 it’s impossible to learn it in matches. I’m c3 and I’ve never trained air dribbles or anything and I still can’t do them 🤷‍♂️ I only trained powershots and basic mechanics at plat and that was it for my training, never trained after that. I recommend doing the same but learning air dribbles or any other advanced mechanics at around the c2 rank. It’s impossible to get past c3 without air dribbles, I’ve been stuck here for a year, just don’t have enough time to train mechanics

Another little tip is to hit it at its peak, and especially not when it's coming down otherwise the bounce would be very much and u wouldn't be able to dribble

Remember, first few hits on the ball you should NOT be holding boost, you can’t dribble if you start off with too much momentum (unless you have experience with air dribbles)

Honestly all I did was just play the wall to air dribble map for one whole hour on this random day and it helped me figure out the buttons and the controls. I did that when I was gold and about a week later I made it to high plat. This was about a year or 2 ago and I’ve still been playing but I take breaks once in a while so now I’ve been a hard stuck champ 2 for about 3-4 months now.
