The 3 videos are great for showing how to do the base but even the best base is useless if the ship isn’t blended in properly! Many modellers can do a passable base but making the ship seem if it belongs is the difficult part. I would really have liked to see your technique for adding a ship and then blending it into the base.

This is an impressive video on paint effects. Does wind have no effect on a model ocean? Passing vessels at speed have bow and wake waves, do they not? The base shows motion but the ocean surface seems indifferent to said motion.

Very nice indeed. I guess it is only appropriate for very small scale, like 1/700. What about waves in bigger scales like 1/350?

Too much time spent watching this . Very good work but... I think in another video you are running the film at fast forward while calmly telling us what your doing. We don't need to see every movement. Fast forward on all of it and just tell us what your doing works best. Sure would have liked to see a boat set in this after watching ALL 3 VIDEOS!!!
