Each event uses all three categories (speed,power,technique). You can see what each does for each event If you wait without pressing anything when they show names and ability until your character appears.

Josh when you do a ball and they don’t swing that counts against you and I think if you have 4 bad balls they get a free run to first base Also if you swing or the ai swing the bad ball counts as a strike

You’d literally win if you didn’t swing at every pitch they throw lol. If you see the ball going out then just don’t swing. That’s what is getting you out so quickly every time

For the sinker throw it just above the box and it will move into the strike zone, For the slider have it to the right of the box and it will “slide” in , The curveball anywhere up or right of the zone so it curves down into the strike zone, the fastball I recommend throwing in the upper right box of the zone and throw it after a curve ball😊

Baseball Pitching Tips: The 4 seam Fastball is the most basic of pitches since it has no breaking motion. Just a basic pitch. Other fastball variations include the 2 seam fastball, cutter and sinker. The two seam breaks towards the right since pitchers are right handed, cutter to the left and sinker downwards. These are the moving balls which reduce the least amount of speed possible. The changeup is like a false fastball, the lower speed forces it to drop at the plate. The slider and curveball both break to the left although the curveball is thrown more upwards and then drops. The whole point of understanding where each pitch breaks is because it should dictate your pitching strategy. Usually the idea is to throw a breaking ball which either looks like it will land outside the zone which actually lands in (ie. a slider near the batters chest) or throwing a ball outside the zone which actually looks in (i.e. a sinker/changeup below the zone). The fastball is thrown to collect strikes, although a fastball slightly above the zone is also a decent strikeout pitch. I’d also like to mention that all batter pitcher matchups seem to be righty/righty, which fundamentally benefits the pitcher. High and inside fastballs not only are the quickest to reach the plate but also, the batter has to swing quickly because it’s the point which takes the longest time for the bat to reach. In that respect, the most useful breaking balls for switching up the timing are low and outside, although if you pitch exclusively like this, it becomes apparent what you’re going to throw.

You also have multiple teammates so you can have specific characters for specific events

Josh, if, in baseball you are batting and the ball pitches outside the strike zone (the square) don't swing then it will be a ball. Where it says B,S,O on the bottom of the scoreboard, that stands for balls, strikes and outs. If the number of balls reaches 4, the batter automatically gets to go to first base (this is called a walk).However, if you swing at a ball that pitches outside the strike zone, it is a strike. Whereas if you leave it and don't swing it is a ball. Hope this helps you josh

Hey there, fellow American to help explain our past time known as baseball. 1. There is a set square known as the strike zone. If the ball is OUTSIDE of that zone, you do not want to swing, that will give you a ball which is good! If you able to get 4 balls, that is known as a walk and the batter is granted first. 2. Not sure how this game's mechanics are, but typically a ball that is hit in to the outfield runners round as many bases as they can. Try to find a way to advance your runners during play. Stealing a base is a thing that can happen but I doubt this game has worked that out 3. With any baseball video game, timing is EVERYTHING with how well the ball is hit. Try to time your swing as best as you can. Watch your attributes as well, your stats weren't the greatest for hitting 4. With how well your pitching is, I would stick with the "breaking ball" pitches (a pitch that changes path on its way to the plate) i.e curve, slider, and sinker. Keep these pitches around the outside of the strike zone so the ball breaks away from the zone and they'll be more likely to swing and miss. Also, if you have 2 strikes, a 4 seam fb (just a straight line pitch known as a fast ball that is thrown as hard and fast as you can) thrown as high as you can is a good tactic to get them out. 5. The one stance you took when you were up to bat late in the video is known as a bunt. The bunt is a strategic way to move the runners to the next base, getting runners in scoring position.

JOSH when playing baseball dont consider swinging if the ball is aimed out the box unless the ball indicator is really close to the black box line or touching it. If you swing at 1 outside the box you risk the chance of a strike, but if you dont swing itll be a ball and 3 balls is a free walk for the batting team. Also when you're swinging try to wait for the balls shadow to be near/ preferably on the horizontal line on the white batting plate at your feet; that usually promises a hit if the ball is within the box.

Using the baseball, for an example here. You've got three stats as the pitcher and batter (and three stats for the other sports as well, I'm guessing) and the three "forms of play" as in the power, speed and technique. I'm guessing that the "power" form will effect the top stat in all sports (but in baseball's case pitch strength) which would mean "speed for" will effect ball speed, and technique would effect the spin (as you saw in your play). Hope this helped/helps in our vids. :)

As a Canadian and baseball fan and player it was triggering but if the ball is not in the zone its a ball if you do not swing if you swing no matter where the ball is it will be a strike,also when you score its called a run, the thing you were doing near the end is called a bunt when you guy bends over and keeps the bat there its meant to move runners over to the next base, also that power up thing works in every event so you should probably use it for baseball that will most likely help you hit the ball harder and further hopefully this helps

Josh you can see where the ball will go when you are hitting the ball by looking at which direction the ball is turning when it's coming towards you in baseball so when they are throwing a curveball and the ball is turning to the right you go to the box to the right

Hey man for baseball, you dont always have to be center. Thats why you hit it up in the air. Try hitting the top, bottom, left or right of the ball, depending on where you wanna hit the ball. Not sure if this will work just an idea

on baseball, if the ball is being thrown to you out of the square then you can leave it (don't swing) and that's called a ball. If the pitcher gives you 4 balls like that, then you get to go straight to first base. If there is already a player on that base, you both move round, just like on 2nd base and 3rd base. You only need to be weary when it looks like its going out of the square and then goes in right at the end.

Use the control vibration to help you have a good start , it vibrates twice , then stops, then u have to count imaginary vibrations , till you get to 4 then your start will be perfect

with things like baseball and boxing you can have any technique equipped all it does is change different stats like stronger punch or stronger pitch

Hitting a baseball is all about timing. The earlier you are the more likely you are to pull the ball to the hitters side (ex. Right handed hitters hit it to left field and same for lefties hit it right if they swing early) The later you swing the more likely you’ll hit it to opposite field.

In the hammer throw if you get in the pink it’s a excellent throw but if you get it in the middle of the pink which looks a bit more brighter it is an amazing throw and glows blue

Speed is for timed events, running bmx ect. Power for distance and upper body events like hammer and baseball. And tecnique is better for one on one events like tennis and football.

You get 4 balls, 3 strikes and 3 outs. The 4 seam fb is 4 seam fastball which goes straight, 2 seam fastball is fastball with a bit of a dip and the other pitches are exactly what the name saids. Usually you change up the speed to mess around the the batter’s timing and never pitch right in the middle, always pitch near the edge of the strike zone.

For baseball, when the bowler throws the ball and its out of the 9 squares if you swing its a strike if you dont its a ball.

In hammer throw excellent is when it gets into the dark pink. Amazing is when its in the light pink area in the middle of the dark pink area

For baseball if it is outside the strike zone(Black Outlined Box) it is a ball. If you get four balls you get a walk which means you get a free pass to first base. So if it is outside the strike zone DO NOT SWING AT IT!! Also hitting the ball in the air is a result or getting under the ball. I don’t know how you would fix the fly ball problem in this game. By the way the average score for each team of a nine inning game(normal game) is five per team. So 2 is about right for a three inning game.

in the hammer throw, there's a small area in the middle of the pink thats a slightly different colour. if you get it in that small area it goes way further like your 88 metre one

Okay so the box during baseball is called the strike zone when you throw the ball in the strike zone it is a strike, but when it is thrown out of the zone and you swing and miss it is also a strike, so when the ball is out side the strike zone when it it pitched to you DON'T SWING. And you need 4 balls for a person to walk to first base. ❤

If you look at the intro screens to each event it shows you how your boost affect your states for that particular event

When your are up to bat during baseball look at the spin of the ball, it will tell you what type of pitch it will be/where it will move

Josh , in baseball, the direction the arrows point that is how you throw as an example if you throw a sinker the ball will go downwards . This won’t work with the changeup and 4 seam fb. Please like cuz i know it hurts you’re eyes so like this .

If the batter in baseball is right handed (on the left of the home base) the earlier you hit the ball the further left it goes and the later they hit the ball it goes right and vice versa the difference between hitting it early and late is very small
