The biggest difference between EX and PRO version is that while PRO has an animation limit of 24 frames maximum, EX can be used for longer projects!

Can Clip Studio Paint be used on tablets and phones?
-Yes! Features will vary and you can read more about it on their website!
Is Clip Studio Paint a one time payment or a subscription?
-It is a one time payment on pc (Windows/Mac/Chromebook) and a subscription on tablets (Iphones, Ipads, Galaxy, Androids etc)
Is Clip Studio Paint easy to use?
-Absolutely! It was very easy to learn and get used to in my opinion, not an overwhelming amount of tools and it can still be used effectively for both animation and illustration!

-The standard G-pen!

-I animate on Clip Studio Paint with my Wacom Cintiq 22HD!

TIPS!:
-Double click on the paper layer to change its color!
-The canvas size can easily be changed anytime to make your project larger or smaller : (edit → change canvas size)
-There are lots of free brushes online, including photoshop brushes which are fully compatible with CSP!
-I like using the opacity trick with keyframes to transition from a blurred image to a focused one for background zoom-ins or outs! (Stacking them on top of each other and having one go down to 0% opacity so the second one appears!)
There are tons of tools to explore and use which I didn’t have time to explain such as 3D assets, rulers/grids, tonal corrections and much more!

I-- I think I love you?? I got Clip Studio Paint not that long ago, and I love it, but I've barely known how to work the animation! And no matter which tutorial I watched, my pea-brain could never seem to grasp what they were try to say. But you? You explained everything so clearly and simply, and not too fast! 3:37 THIS. I didn't know that for tweening I needed to make a folder for each piece for each scene, and just the title screen are 10 pieces. That I can fit them all inside a folder and collapse that folder with all the elements of the title screen is saving me from an OCD breakdown 😅 Thanks for sharing your experience with us. This is helping me tons to start my first animation with CSP 👍 Also, mint beans 🐾

If I were an animated character, my eyes would literally be glowing of amazement rn- currently I use Krita, and have trouble using the different features, also it’s pretty hard to animate with it. I reaally need to use that trial when I get a new laptop soon.

I’m on my phone, so CSP looks much simpler lol. But this reminds me a little of Photoshop! Like the complexity of everything but in reality it’s actually a lot easier than it looks once you get used to the app. Thanks for this tutorial Louixie, even if it was a long time ago. 9 year old me on my iPad would have LOVED this.
