How to animate like Kurzgesagt! Everyone knows their famous creations, their style is awesome! But, how do you do that? Just grab your Microsoft Powerpoint and go! It's really easy to create such amazing animations in a few minutes. You can do this too!
Of course... I know Kurzgesagt puts a lot of hours in their videos. We simply can't copy their wonderful visuals without a talented team, but we can still try!

I made all my own overlays in PowerPoint and even made a couple point and click adventure games with some VB scripts in the background to run certain scenarios and calls for levels and stuff. I agree it is very useful tool to have at my disposal 😊

Much to my shame, I considered PowerPoint merely as a simple tool to churn out crude presentations. Until now. Now I realize it has more utility. Though I ask myself if the mobile and desktop versions are the same with the same features on both. I'm going to figure it out soon.

It is mind-blowing that Kurzgesagt use specialized Adobe software to draw and animate while you can make the same quality animations simply with some PowerPoint. This does truly prove that you should make the best out of what you have at your disposal.

I make actual movies with this program it’s silly how powerful it is and how versatile it has become over the years. It’s no longer a simple slideshow tool but a full blown movie editor and production studio as well… if you have the patience and skills to do it then it’s worth it in my opinion.

Hmm… PowerPoint doesn’t have very good support for audio and different audio and video channels. I would prefer using software like CapCut for beginners and DaVinci resolve for advanced users.

I think it would be a bit reminiscent of the original to have the rocket shake/vibrate prior to takeoff and then very slightly and gently wiggle left and right as it rises up once the flame is gone or something. Nice touch you made it start spinning slowly once up there at the end!

Vector software manipulates images using geometric tools,, rather than clicks and strokes as used in drawing software. Vectors don't work with pixels :)

its looking good and it is well done!. But I am working as an graphics designer for over 20 years now and power point was ever since capapble of doingt this things. Its just people not being creative, lazy or dont have the amount of experience to make animations come to life - also not enough people showing off things like this. Im wondering that many ppl are suprised that power point can do this - its showing to me that most ppl just dont take time to learn apps like this. Also things like Gimp, Paint or even Excel can be used to do incredible things, but ppl just dont get into it. Amazing job and thanks for opening my eyes again xD No hate here, ppl can do want they want and you deserve all the views.
