How to animate on Procreate Dreams | 9 Mins Simple Steps I wish I know
Welcome to my art channel! Today, I'll share essential steps for animating in Procreate Dreams that I wish I knew earlier. If you've faced lag in Procreate Dreams, start your sketches in regular Procreate first for a smoother flow.
Sketch with different layers and export as PNG files. Open Procreate Dreams, select "Social" size, and import your layers. Organize them into tracks for animation.
Animate with ease using the "record" button and features like "wrap" for dynamic effects. Whether it's flowing hair or moving bubbles, each element comes to life.

You’re so creative and talented. It’s a pleasure to watch your videos, they are so calming and relaxing. Thank you for making the time to share your knowledge, wisdom, and talent with us.❤ I did want to ask, why don’t you just drag and drop the layers. Say, one has 7 layers in their drawing, as I just did. I do a Split View, create 7 tracks then start dragging one layer at a time to keep them in order. I’m asking because I’m not sure if what I’m doing is correct.

Hi thanks for your message. Glad that you find it useful😊 You can use “drag and drop” method as well. I tried “drag and drop” method myself and I personally find it a bit confusing when it comes to resizing each layer (maybe that’s because I’m still getting use with Procreate Dreams). So I find adding layer by layer is less confusing and I can resize each layer before importing the next layer. But this method takes longer time. If you’re already familiar with Dreams, “drag and drop” method is a slightly quicker way to import all the layers 😊
