HOW TO ANIMATE PICTURES AND MAKE THEM BLINK (AFTER EFFECTS TUTORIAL)

In this tutorial, you will learn how to make a picture blink and move with adobe after effects using the liquify effect and the pin tool. ( No plug-ins needed) I hope this was helpful!

I have Tried this effect on numerous occasions but the bottom layer keeps moving and the eyes always looks deformed. Do you have any suggestions?

As a side note, blinks can vary depending on the type of personality or emotion the character is going through. For a generic blink, blinks should drop down 2 frames, hold for one frame with slight squash, and release and rise with 3 frames, or sometimes 4. ^__^

thank you so much 🥺 and precomposing is basically grouping layers together! It's useful when you want to apply an effect over everything and not on every single individual layers! Or in the case of the tutorial, using the puppet tool on only one layer would've made the eye mask on top not move with it!
