so, i am a clumsy person, and therefore makes alot of mistakes, past, present and future, and you just get to the point where you are sick of apologizing, because it just turns into this situation where you can see that everyone around you just thinks "oh sigh, will she ever get a grip", so you just stop apologizing in the hopes of people not noticing that it was your fault... it's not that i don't feel guilty or feel like apologizing, i just feel like those words don't really do any good anymore...

+marapprech you have to grow up and gauge when an apology is really necessary. a quick 'sorry' for a small mistake is okay, but constant apologising gets annoying. i used to do this but what lilly is trying to get at is when an apology is REALLY REALLY needed, you need to learn how to genuinely apologise and not just avoid the issue.

I have a tendency to apologize for EVERYTHING. I don't know why but at work when I stuff something up I never really say sorry when I should. I've said it so much beforehand but I had been so upset that people never forgave me for it so the word became insignificant and useless to me. This is actually one of my pet peeves, I hate it when my friends make fun of me for saying thank you or sorry. I know close friends don't have to apologize or say thank you but I want to show my remorse or gratitude. I like being polite to EVERYONE, whether you're my friend or a stranger.
