How to apply adhesive vinyl to a Dollar Tree Night Light. --Cricut--DIY

The dollar store is my best friend when it comes to crafts! I love that you can take something so ordinary and turn it into something extraordinary! In this video tutorial I will show you step by step how to create your own personalized Halloween Night Lights using spray frost and/or glitter. Such a simple craft, but looks amazing in the end.

These are super cute! Just an aside - that spray is modpodge sealer. Designed to spray on your finished modpodge project. Might work to help set your glitter ☺️

I do not use nightlights, but love to see them transformed with the Cricut! Have you ever used polycrylic or Mop & Glo to adhere glitter? I use that in Christmas tree ornaments and thought it might be an option for nightlights. I like to use what I have on hand, and others may also. Obviously the Mod Podge works wonderfully.

Do you spray both the front and back with the frosted glass spray before you start the rest of the project?

Honestly anything but cricut brand. My favorite though is orical 651

I have heard that there is a fire hazard for the dollar tree night lights but have never had an issue before and I've used mine for quite a long time. I guess its 50/50, wish I could be more helpful

Thank you. That's on my mind as well, I just have mine for show or in the bathroom. I have seen where you can take off the prongs and just have as a decoration. Just a thought ;)

I have used my dollar tree night lights for years. I don't think they get hot enough to be concerned.

I wouldnt seal it if you used 651, that's a permanent vinyl you shouldn't have to seal that. I used mod podge on mine when I used the glitter. I sold all of mine so I dont have anymore to take a pic of, sorry
