I decided that its time to finally attempt to try false eyelashes. I watch a bunch of yt videos about how to apply it it looks easy kind of. Went out and bought a few cheap ones..and the result I cant even get it on the lashline lol the struggle so real.

I love how you are the same person now as you were back in the day. 😊 I'm rewatching this because even though I wear false lashes every single day I have not been doing too well with them lately. I've worn them pretty much every day for about 5 years and for some reason they just aren't working for me right now. I'm rewatching this to help me out and for me to figure out what I am doing wrong right now. You are so much the same person yet so different. I love you so much Jaclyn. Omg me! I swear I buy ardell or kiss with the thinner lines. I actually wrap them around a make up brush that night or in am for the night. It curves them so perfectly and I use a tad of glue so when I measure them they already are able to cling on Do some snip snip. I personally curl the falsies lightly Then I tight line my eyes always underneath. Ok then I been using a heavy pharmacy brand liquid eyeliner to FILL IN THE GAPS. really it's so hard to do a perfect wing ect...as long as mine have liner in the inner eyelids and between the lashes it looks better just for me. Then I take a long metal hair clip lol clip each one on and add my favorite glue. Then I pray lmfao ok so I take some times a tweezer or my fingers. For me if I dont curve them around and think shadow brush they come out terrible. So the are so rounded I gently fit the to my eye. The lol use the metal hair clip and clap down and curl up at same time. That's what I do. I tried their way and cant do it lol

i have the same problem, mine are SUPER curly and get in the way of the falsies, and i have a very difficult time applying them. looks like its a lot easier without curly lashes, you can just pop those falsies right on top without any trouble.

When you curl your lashes, do it inside down.

Try putting mascara on after putting falsies on. Also use an eyelash curler and use it upside down unlike when you normally curl it to straighten them out!😊

Tsvetelina Sarbinska the lashes may be too long for your eye shape, try cutting a tiny piece off the inner corner. This usually works for me.

didnt you listen to jacklyn dont cut the inner part of the lash. cut from the back of your eye just at the corner where your lid ends that will keep the inner corner in the exact place where it should be

*sigh* The bottom line is this whole "argument", if you could call it that, seems to be that some hater KNOWS that Velour lashes are NOT cruelty free, and knows this just because a company refuses to divulge information that very well may be considered a "trade secret" to some loony that wants to know the info. (And JUST for the loonies who try to ridicule my use of the phrase trade secret, here's some quick schooling for you: "A trade secret is a formula, practice, process, design, instrument, pattern, commercial method, or compilation of information which is not generally known or reasonably ascertainable by others, and by which a business can obtain an economic advantage over competitors or customers." Look it up.) They're not obligated to tell anyone anything about how they, as a business, operate unless they are actually CHARGED with a crime, and indictments are filed and subpoenas handed down. Why do you think no one really knows exactly how to make "the secret sauce" from McDonald's? How many farmers swear that their organically and obscenely overprices squash is 100% pesticide-free, yet refuse to pony up the ingredients or formulas to their "vitamin nutrients" that they spray their crops with? Trade secrets. And yes, the company in which you employ to gather mink fur from zoos during shedding season can be, and probably is, considered a trade secret as it is information "which is not generally known or reasonably ascertainable by others, and by which a business can obtain an economic advantage over competitors or customers". geez. On a brighter note, ♥ you, Jaclyn! Keep doing what you do when you do what you do!!

$35 for fake lashes? seriously? I'm so lucky I was born with natural long lashes. Beauty ain't cheap 💯

I was watching this tutorial and i decided to go on Velour's website to see their selection for myself and I decided...I wouldn't support Velour because they are made out of mink fur and although I'm sure they are high quality lashes, there are alternate brands that aren't made out of mink fur which could give the same effect. Maybe think twice about how these lashes are produced before purchasing and using them.

I'm 48 and just getting into makeup and I got my mom into it and she's 68, we both just never really were into it. But learning especially from such great KZfaqrs who actually explain every step and why is such a huge help!!!
