Not really tbh, but I think if you’re planning to get a tourist visa and you have the means and strong ties, you don’t need an invitation letter. As much as you can, make the consul ask the least amount of questions. :)

Hello there, my mom and dad are dual citizens (US and Ph), they are currently staying in the Ph but will need to back to the US to renew their citizenship. Problem is both are over 75 years old and have mobility issues. Dad is wheelchair bound, mom can hardly walk. They asked me if i can accompany them for this trip. I am their eldest child, 54 years old. No permanent job lately. Do i stand a chance in getting a tourist visa for the US?

One thing to consider is if there is someone else who can accompany them with this trip back to US. They might think you will stay indefinitely since you have no permanent job, and both parents are also US citizens. But if you have money and don’t mind about the visa fee. It’s worth trying. :)

Renewal for citizenship ? There is no renewal sa citizenship because its doesn’t expired or are you talking about the blue passport ? You can renew the passport sa US EMBASSY DYAN SA PINAS.

Hello po. Thank you po for your video. Question ko lang po. This is about the visa application fee. I paid the amount nong 02/18/2022 pa. Pero the earliest interview date na nakuha ko is sa July 6 this year pa. Is it still valid? Do I have to pay again kasi may nabasa po ako na valid lang yon for 1 year daw? But I am not sure. Your help is greatly appreciated. This is for my parents' tourist visa application po. Salamat.

If you can login sa CGI mo and check if the confirmed appointment is still there, then it is enough confirmation na approved na yan :) baka yung nabasa nyo di na valid after 1 year is kapag di kayo nagset ng appointment. But di ko talaga alam ung balitang yun, hehe! Goodluck po sa application nila :)

@alexandrapacheco8894 hi, nagtaas na po sila nung June from $160 to $185. depende po sa exchange rate, ako naabutan ako ng inflation, kaya nasa 10700php or something yung binayaran ko. may 2 options po sila ng mode of payment, either magbabayad ka any branch ng RCBC or PesoNet po 🙂

Hello, may tanung po ako regarding sa Contact Person in the Part ng form. Sabi nyo po kasi hindi kayo naglagay ng Person. Ang nilagay nyo is yung Company (Hotel) napag stayan nyo sa US. Hotel na malapit sa Disneyland. Q: Does this mean po ba need ng Hotel booking confirmation? or no need. It's ok to just fill the hotel that you are planning palang to check in if we go to the US? Q: Nagtanung po ba yung Consul regarding this booking nyo sa Hotel? Hope you can have time to answer.

Mag base pa din po kayo sa actual requirement ng US embassy :) and i would suggest try to build your travel history so you can have stronger ties to PH and di na kayo magdedepend kung may kakilala kayo sa US.

Yep they are right, but if you’re willing to risk it, wala naman mawawala, just the visa fee and all the pagaasikaso ng requirements. If money is not your concern, you should still give it a try :)

Mabilis nalang sir makakuha ng appointment maccheck nyo naman po sya sa website maseselect ang calendar ng availability :) pag fill out ng form and bayad mabilis nalang po un weeks nalang bibilangin. Simulan nyo na po ngayon para natakbo na oras :)

Yes mas ok po na nakareflect sa inyo ang expenses and that you can afford to travel on your own if you are applying for a tourist visa. You need to make yourself look independent and you need to have strong ties sa country :)

Wala po. Hindi sya need as a requirement for US tourist visa. Nagbabago po ang fee ng US visa rates. Dito po makikita sa website www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-visafeeinfo.asp#payment Tiyagain nyo lang po magbasa makukuha nyo lahat ng info dyan, di na din need mag travel agency.

Sa case ko they didn’t. It depends actually, if you’re confident enough with how you deliver the answer to their questions they won’t need it. 😊 but I still brought with me bank statements and COE. Di naman nagamit hehe. best of luck to you!

No po. Hindi po need ang reservation ng hotel and even flights pag apply ng US visa, di rin sya required sa interview. Ang importante is mapatunayan nyo na you have the financial capacity to travel, you’re going there as a tourist and you have a lot of reasons or a stable reason to go back to PH. :)

Hi po nag apply din po ako ng tourist visa, then single po ako that time na nag apply ako last last feb 25, 2023 purpose ko po is to visit my fiance for our anniversary kasi waiting po kami sa noa2 ng aming k1 visa. Ang concern ko po is last march ikinasal kami, kinancel po namin yung fiance visa namin at nag shift sa cr1 visa po. At dahil medyo matagal papo yun kaya po ako nag apply ng tourist visa. Kelangan nyo lang po iupdate ang ds160 nyo kasi dun sila magbabase ng iinterviewhin sa inyo. Malapit na po ba interview nyo? Wag po kayo magworry, basta if you did your best it will be for you! 😊🤲🏻

Yeah you can just let her apply for an actual US tourist visa if she’s confident enough that she has all the requirements needed and it’s also an advantage to have an actual visa rather than just having a transit one. :)

Naku wala po mam :) nasa website po kasi naka base ung opened calendar dates. Pero mas mabilis naman na po magkaroon ng slots ngayon may mga in a month or even less than a month may slots naman patience lang din po sa paglogin at pagcheck check hehe. Mga 3x ako nagresched nung time ko ksi last year pa po ako nagapply. Goodluck po sa inyo :)

May point in time po na ang tagal makahanap ng interview appointment slot, so kahit March 2022 ako nagtapos ng DS160, after 1 year pa ko nakakuha ng slot. Pero naparesched ko sya 3x so napaaga po interview ko this 2023. Ngayon mas madali nalang makakuha ng appointment. After interview, malalaman mo if approved ka kung iiiwan mo passport mo or ibabalik sayo. Then iintayin pa po pagbalik ng passport nyo para sa visa.

An invitation letter is fine but this is another process you have to consider - as for me I disassociated myself with anything that’s connected sa US so that the PH IO would think I have nothing to do there except tour, I will not overstay, etc and that I can shoulder my own trip :)

Are you applying as a tourist? :) if you have enough proof naman to go back here you dont have to present an invitation letter. Mas madami pa silang itatanong if you declare that you know people dun if they are not your immediate family :)

Wala pong locker, pero ung mga nagtitinda dun sa harap ng embassy, may pouch na pwede pagtaguan ng gamit for a fee. Tiwala ang puhunan haha! Tingin ko last resort na yon, if kaya magbring a friend or jowa, much better. 🥰😄 thank you for watching po 🙂

Sa cgi website makikita ung interview appointment slots :) Kelangan mo muna matapos ung application form din para sure, and you will also take note kase ng ds160 application form mo before scheduling an appointment.

No need to be public naman since preference nyo yan sa own social media nyo. But if you can public it and you have no concerns in doing so it might help. Add nyo lahat ng pwede nyong iadd na social media kase pag nakita nila din na well traveled kayo it’s a big plus. :)

hi thanks for sharing.... i'd like to ask regarding sa relative in the U.S kapag hindi ba close relative pwede ba hindi na e declare what if they found out na may relatives ka sa U.S by their own investigation?.. in your personal opinion and do you have relatives sa U.S na hindi muna dineclare?.. thank you hoping you answered my question

What kind of relatives po sila? If hindi naman immediate wag na ideclare, just say i dont know pag tinanong and wag nadin ilagay sa ds160. Pag immediate dun lang talaga need maging honest, then bahala na kay consul. Ang importante honest po sila :)

@@itsthesherthing hi thank you for the response... actually first cousin ng father ko technically my aunt pero hindi nman ako closed sa kanila at it's more than a decade since the last time i've seen her.. medyo afraid lang ako bka kasi makita nila sa data system or sa facebook dahil nag message sya sken 6 years ago nun namatay ang father ko just pero hindi ko sila friend sa FB... do you think makikita nila yun? Do you have relative also sa U.S? Sorry kung na bother kita sa mga question ko thank you

Hmm hindi yan ung naexperience ko but I guess it wont hurt to try and apply 😊 if you’re not in a rush of going there try to apply muna for work at least 6 months then you can process your tourist visa application kase baka hindi ka magrant and they would think you wont go back. 😊

I don’t have any other details about this since tourist visa lang po ang experience ko. Pero as rule of thumb if you are holding a PH passport and if you’re applying for a visa, I believe dapat sa PH padin po kayo manggaling. :)

Is he a Filipino? Anyway sa interview minsan itatanong if sino kasama mo then you can just say fiance or boyfriend it doesn’t really matter :)

No need to book anything :) sa ds160 may section dun na ilalagay hotel o kung san ka magsstay in my case nagisip lang ako ng gusto ko puntahan na hotel pag pupunta na talaga akong US.

Pwede po sabay. Habang sinasagutan nyo na si DS-160 punta nadin po sila RCBC or follow nyo po instructions ni online payment. Make sure nyo lang po na naitabi nyo si receipt number na ginegenerate kasi need po yun for booking an appointment.

Kahit po sagot ni partner kelangan po magapply paden po sila on your own kase proof of ties mo po sa Pinas ang pagbabasehan ng approval. :)

You can bring at least 2 pcs just to be sure (kung mahulog man ung isa or what) hehe but 1 lang talaga need. Make sure lang na nasa tamang format (white background)

Malalaman po if approved agad dun sa interview kapag iniwan po sa kanila ang passport. Then mga less than a week po nasa desired courier ko na sya pinickup ko sa LBC :)
