You're living in one of the most stunning provinces in Canada yet isolated,coldest and far to get to. Anyways I'm from Indonesia who will be setting foot in nova Scotia as of april 2022. I do plan on visiting Newfoundland one day. Novascotia,Newfoundland,new brunswick,and prince Edward island are the gemstones of the Atlantic provinces

Hi Belmar! Nice to meet you. I’m not very experienced with their postgrad program as I only did my undergrad there. I would recommend joining MUN Facebook groups as they usually have peers available to help. Also, being in touch with their admissions department is a good way to get some guidance as they may be best to answer your questions 😊

Hey Sandy! Really glad to hear that you found this video helpful. Thanks for subscribing 😊 I don’t know much about Keyin College to be honest and sadly don’t know anyone who went there. What I would recommend is checking to see if they have a Facebook group where you can connect with other students who went there or who are currently a student. LinkedIn is also a great way to meet folks from the school. I hope that helps 😊

Hello dear please can you clarify this to me ? In the video of how to apply for the school they said we can give a letter for English proficiency since we’ve been studying in English in another country. But in some videos of students they are all saying that we need an IETLS test. I want to know which one I have to get (letter or test results ?)

Hi there. Yes, from what I gather, it will depend on a case to case basis. In some cases, I hear that the test is waived but it is best to actually inquire with the school you are applying with. They can better answer. In my case, there was a partnership with my junior college so I didn’t need to do it. Hope that helps 😊

Hello Chris. I’m not an academic advisor and so the best advice I can give is that you check out their website and apply according their requirements as it can change from time to time. Before applying, ask all the questions you have via their admission department toensure that it works for you according to your credit transfer as I’m not sure how it completely works for other schools. Hope that’s a helpful start

Here is something you might not know about living in Newfoundland,If you live in St.Johns you are a ‘townie’,but if you live outside of St.Johns,you are a ‘baman’. Ask some of the old timers about those terms,that will get you a laugh or two.Enjoy your time in my favourite province,Newfoundland.The Rock is a great place to grow up in,it’s just the long winters that can be trying.Btw-have you been screeched in yet?The day I was,I thought I was going to pass out,lol.

Hello Emmanuel. Thanks for watching. I’m glad the video was useful. There is no one way to answer your question as everyone’s situation is different. I haven’t lived in NL for a while now so I can’t give you an answer on the ease of finding work as COVID has affected many job opportunities. The ease to find a part time job will depend on the job itself, if you’re qualified and if it fits your school schedule. You may have to find meaningful work experience by volunteering somewhere first to help you resume as experience outside of Canada isn’t really seen as valid for a lot of job opportunities, with the exception of some customer service jobs or ones in the food industry. Hope that helps
