I really can’t believe this but it works. I put my nails on Sunday (today is Friday) and only one and a half have lifted. I know the reason why is because I put the nails on too close to the cuticle. No other nails have lifted. This was my first time using acrylic and I will never go back. Usually with gel glues, both indexes and middle fingers are lifted the day after application. Thank you!!!!!!!

Yay! 🤗 I'm so glad this method worked for you. You're comment just made my day. This method usually lasts until your ready to remove it so it's good you figured out what make the few nails lift from your set. You are never going to want apply your nail with anything else but acrylic after this. Just so easy to apply and lasts for every. Thanks for sharing your experience with it. 💅🏾 Tfw 🥰

I was having that peeling problem too. I started putting a thin layer of base gel before I put the builder gel and that helped. I also go around the edges with all the coats too. It does take a little longer with 3 steps but I still would rather do this myself than go to the nail shop. Love your videos!!! 🙂

Thanks for the tip. I think the next time I do this I will apply primer to the nail then base, builder, and top. I want to see if that would help with the peeling at all. Thanks for watching! 🥰

Hey love! 💕 Gel works the best when the press on nail isn’t opaque. (Think French tip nails or jelly nails). That allows the light to penetrate then nail and fully cure the gel. The thing I love most about applying press ons with acrylic is that it works with any nail opaque or not. Acrylic is my favorite way to apply press ons. Let me know how this method works for you. Thanks for watching. 🥰

I love your interaction with your little daughter so cute! I am happy about your video bc I’ve always wanted to do press ons bc they are wayyyyy easier than doing your own acrylic nails but they don’t last long enough for me. I started doing my own acrylics bc it’s way cheaper but extremely time consuming so I hate it. I’ve always thought about trying to apply press one with acrylic but didn’t want to do it for no reason. So happy to know it would work! I can’t wait to try it! I have my press ons already ordered and on their way! Thanks so much

I’ve never applied full cover tips with acrylic. It does look easier. I usually apply with rubber base gel and I usually am able to back fill them at least twice, if not three times before I have to remove them. I want to try the acrylic method next bc it looks super easy! ❤❤ TYSMFS!

I love French nails, they are classic. I like the pink and purple set because they are perfect on your skin tone. I would do acrylic but that monomer smell I can’t do. I have found a no odor that civilians can buy. So I may try that. I have so much stuff I really need to use it up before I buy more anything. I have gotten two weeks out of press ons with glue. The best nail glue is Dashing Diva wonder bond. However as I have gotten older my nails have gotten flatter, and they split all the time. So false nails are a necessity not an option. It’s not a nail health issue. It’s the architecture.

@@user-fc2xk3uv8y Yeah there is a learning curve to this method. The first time I did it it used a Kiss kit from Walmart and I had nails pop off within a week. But once I got the application technique down and upgraded the products I used, those nails were on until I soaked them off. So try it a few more times and I'm sure you will get it. As far as using nail glue, it also depends on prep and the products. The Young Nails nail glue has really great hold and has lasted me 2 weeks before. I also really like the BTArtBox nail glue. I hope this helps some. Let me know how your nails continue to hold up. 💅🏾

Also, (sorry for so many comments) lol😂 I’m glad I’m not the only one to experience the top coat peeling…. I love the btart box nails, and have recently put in a new order BUT they always peel after 7 ish days… I do the same thing you just did BUT idk how the girls are making them last without peeling! And yes the nails stay FOREVER! But like you said and from my experience, they peel FAITHFULLY…. I think in my next haul/ video I’m goin to say go for it but be prepared to change the color/design. Also for acrylic, I use my trusty IBD acrylic and I don’t have any poppin off ever. I know everyone has their go to acrylics and IBD isn’t as popular anymore but they are &have always been at the top.

No need to apologize, I love the interaction! 😃❤️🥰 So what's weird about the top coat peeling is that it's the first time it's ever happened with the BTArtbox top coat. I've used their builder and base before with no issues so not sure why it peeled this time. And I always cap the free edge so I was confused. And girl, I had no idea IBD even had acrylics. I've only known them for builder gel. I'm going to check them out and give it a try as well. I love testing this method with different acrylics. Thank you for mentioning it. What monomer do you use with the IBD acrylic?
