The heat thing is a common misconception. It is theoretically true but it is in such a microscopic scale that you just cant notice it. Its like when you slap watter the kenetic energy technically heats it up but i can be slapping it all night long and it wont feel any warmer. I think chemical sunscreens especially light weight water based ones are much better for acnee prone skin. They are so much lighter and dont feel like anything even after an entire day of reapplying.

That is too much sunscreen. We don’t do that on our bodies so why do we do it to our faces:. Seems more like a how to: break out, waste product, complain about a white cast even though you used way too much, etc.
@pennyinheavenАй бұрын
It’s your choice if you need to apply on your body. It also depends where you live. For those who wear only on their faces, it’s mostly to help slow down the appearance of wrinkles and sunspots, and help with healing acne marks. But 1tsp/5ml should cover the face, neck and ears, to get the labeled spf.

Overall, I have noticed some changes on my face. I didn't break out like before when I was using the physical sunscreen. I threw away my physical sunscreen because it caused breakouts.
