PLS WATCH MY VIDEO AFTER THATS REGARDING THE WHITE CAST IN THIS VIDEO because alot of ppl in other platforms were not happy about it, i clarify and redemonstrate. thank you so much for watching!! please disregard the slight whitecast in the end of this current video (i applied more sunscreen on top of the first layer just for the video but you dont get a white cast if you apply the normal amount😭) this is my current favorite sunscreen - the aestura derma sunscreen!! can be a bit pricey tho so make sure to get it on oliveyoung or yesstyle if there's a sale and you can use my code "LILYIS10" on both sites~

The heat thing is a common misconception. It is theoretically true but it is in such a microscopic scale that you just cant notice it. Its like when you slap watter the kenetic energy technically heats it up but i can be slapping it all night long and it wont feel any warmer. I think chemical sunscreens especially light weight water based ones are much better for acnee prone skin. They are so much lighter and dont feel like anything even after an entire day of reapplying.

When I apply that much sunscreen my face would get super oily 😭 And my skin reacts badly to mineral sunscreen ☹️ I apply chemical sunscreen, then mattifying primer, then powder makeup, and that seems to prevent the oiliness. It’s your choice if you need to apply on your body. It also depends where you live. For those who wear only on their faces, it’s mostly to help slow down the appearance of wrinkles and sunspots, and help with healing acne marks. But 1tsp/5ml should cover the face, neck and ears, to get the labeled spf.

Oh my god, we have the same skin type. Like me, I used physical sunscreen before, and now I have switched to mineral sunscreen. Although it has a white cast, it takes time to blend. Overall, I have noticed some changes on my face. I didn't break out like before when I was using the physical sunscreen. I threw away my physical sunscreen because it caused breakouts. I changed sunscreen because I felt like my previous sunscreen was not suitable for me. After some research, I found out that mineral sunscreen is the right choice for me, and I can see a noticeable difference. I am happy about the change in my skin. 🤍 I am always watching your videos, it's helpful to me. And added more knowledge in me.
