That university has a lot less explanation videos available about the application process so can you please find someone to explain it. This university compared to Medina also accepts female students so it would be particularly helpful for us since we can't apply for Medina.

Salam Aleikom I read for the Islamic studies you need to memorize the Qu'ran, in Arabic? Do you have to be fluent in Arabic? My son is hispanic speaks English/spanish a revert to Islam. wants to apply to learn Arabic & to teach the Qu'ran at his mosque. There is a growing community of latinos converting from cristians to muslims. My son can be the bridge to unite these communities. But he does not speak Arabic at all. Is that a requirement? Shukran for the insight akhi, however that age limit need to be removed, I can understand that you have to be at least 17 to apply, quite normal with a high school degree. But the age limit has to bounce, never late to get an education long as you fit. Fill out an application online of course, get accepted then provide the required paperwork. That's wonderful to get a full scholarship, lovely but who pays the education system then? A small school fee would not harm I think, even if it could go for zakat for poor Muslims. That needs review I think. Or apply a fee depending on where you come from? If Babylon definitely pay a fee, just a small one. That full scholarship bugs me idk why. Free flights over, free rooms, free food, free everything etc... the needy Muslims can definitely use and appreciate it. Then once you get to the university, the international Muslim students need to take a placement test( toefl) kinda and depending on the score you get oriented and you could be taking years of Arabic as second language or a semester just like the secular system. Then once you done with Asl( Arabic as second language) instead of esl( English as second language) you can finally start with your elective courses of Sharia Law if you want to be Muslim lawyer or computer programmer or mathematics etc... depending on your major. If your application fails just remember brothers/sisters there are many other elite duloom/universities all across the Islamic world....Dar al-mustafa in Hadaramaut Yemen, Al-Azhar in Egypt etc etc
