@@ulamzlu For me, I have a dedicated server for Valheim that requires port-forwarding. If my router ever loses power, it will reassign new IPs for my devices when it regains power and the settings I had for port forwarding my game will likely not work because my PC's IP changed due to DHCP from the router.

Good tutorial and easy to follow. Please don't tell me you're not a teacher by profession. Anyways, jokes aside, a bit of constructive feedback: it would have been helpful to state why you could choose a Google DNS server instead of your own, what's the benefit? Bear in mind people not all of us are tech savvy hence the fear of being hacked.

We can just fix the ip address for a device (my mobile, pc, laptop anything) as static from DHCP option in router settings
