I hope Microsoft can add a way to track tasks assigned by you in one place, as it does with those assigned to you. The old outlook for desk have it, but it is something that doesn't appear in the new outlook nor any other tools. It gets hard when you manage multiple teams

Yeah, its a shame, there is no concept of this in Microsoft. Only workaround is to also assign yourself the task, and then in the task title write specifically who the task is for, or come up with some agreed shorthand for your team

I am a team manager with 10 tasks that need to be assigned to my entire team of 10 members. I want each task to be visible to all team members, and when a task is marked as complete, it should display the name of the person who completed it and show it as completed for everyone. How can I achieve this using Microsoft Teams Palnner? this will be recurrence tasks.

If each of the 10 tasks needs to be assigned to each team member, so each has 10 tasks, you would copy each task 10x and assign each one to a team member. Everything in Planner is visible to everyone and when completed jumps to the bottom of the list and shows who completed it on what date. You can have recurring tasks in Planner now so assuming these are the same 10 tasks you might only need to set this up once. If each one of the 10 tasks is only assigned to one team member each, i.e. each member has 1 task each, then the above still works without the copying, however the assignment would carry over onto the recurrence of the task

You said that Planner can automatically "ping" an assignee. I've only seen it sending e-mails for notification purposes. Is "pinging" something different and, if so, how are these notification options controlled?
