I still don’t understand how the movement when receiving the ball and turning it so fast and smooth. Are you just using left stick dribbling or is there a specific button to hold when receiving a ball in a tight area and using it to quickly and smoothly revive and fight open space?

Could you do a video on playing out from the back when the opponent is using team press/constant pressure/pressure after possession loss? I find the slow build + possession/balanced works well for me but I struggle when opponents just keep pressing.

If you don’t have a passing option, sprint away from the presser into open space and try dribble your way away from them when you see them commit to a side, also switch the ball. If you press “up” on the D pad you will have an option called “hug the sideline” utilise this and switch the ball

So I do pass to open players and also take a first touch in the open direction but a player will be behind me and somehow wrap around my player and tackle them. Not only that but it seems in this fifa it’s way harder to be fouled or do one cause I get halfed or someone just crashes into me and no foul. Also I feel that no chances are created for me cause I’ve got the player of the month rashford and when he is through some defender like John stones will come along and just out pace him so I lose the ball and idk what else to do Edit: played a bit more and tbh now I feel it’s all down to how your AI behaves on the day cause sometimes your AI defenders mark well and sometimes they double mark one person so there is a big gap to through ball someone and same with attacking as sometimes your AI will be shit and not run onto a pass or just can’t seem to out run Thiago silva with 96 pace and looking back through the video he plays people who are very bad at defending. Also I do agree to not loose your edge and stay composed cause this happens a lot with it being a 0-0 game until I score one in the 51st minute and then they are angry and then 10 minutes later it’s 5-0. One thing I suggest is to get super subs and bring them on in like the 60 or 70 the minute as it does make a difference since they aren’t tired and for example I have POTM Almiron and when he comes on he will Speed past defenders and score and also If you really do want to get better, record your games and look at where you went wrong and try improve as you can think of games like an exam and then study your weaknesses and try improve on them like for me it was defending so I saw in games I would always bring a defender out and because of that they could through ball someone so I learned to mark players who take the runs

Get your fastest player. Run from edge of own box in a in a curved run towards goal. Do a 360 pivot in the box til a player is free in the 6 yard area. Pass across for the sweaty...

Thank you. How comes when i play, my opponents always have 8 defending very narrowly without much room. The games you show here, your opponents have wide open path to be attacked.

It means your players aren’t making runs, trying to get behind the opponent’s defence. When your forwards make these runs, the defenders have to track back, which creates space. If someone is playing a high defensive line against you, finding this space is harder

@@ShantanuDesai314 If they are in the midfield, i can R1 calling them to run. I am referring to when the opponents have 8 players inside or very near the box, heavily packed. I have high possession of 60-70% but it is very annoying playing against 8 defenders inside the box. They can only counter and score some cheap goals, i usually win but not fun like your gameplay.

Very good but these tactics works if you play under Legendary level, also if you use skills 90% are intercepted by AI and you loose the ball. What about extreme pressing and dangerous fouls? What about fails on passing too many times to too players.. It works very well on low levels, indeed in your tutorial your opponents are extremely easy.

Hey, this is my first FiFA ever and i am really struggeling to get the Ball into the Goal. Passing is ok, i try to minimise mistakes. But when it comes to Shooting, i fail most of the Time. Any suggestions how i can train that?

I suggest you go to the practice arena and get used to shooting the ball against a keeper, then go to practice arena aand try and do the "scenarios" challenge. It will give a lot of in game situations that you can practice your attack with. Also play some squad battles matches, at least on world class to get used to shooting. AI defense usually allows a bit more space for shooting.

I see alot of people have there entire team on a run then they just pass between the central players and get an easy tap in. I've never once scored a goal like that - always proper shots. How do they do this? And do you have a short one on scoring open goals? (1 on 1)

In my opinion old gen/ use lengthy players you can sometimes change a player to lengthy using certain Chem styles also play a lot slower and you’ll see how your team plays once you get a hang of it speed up the play 👍🏻✌🏻

Are you old gen or New? If new, you need to really master massing and possession, when into the final third you need to attack fast, slow will kill you!

6:55 - 7:02 . How did you get your AI defenders to pace back to defend so quickly like that? Or is it based on your defenders level and punishes those of us who refuse to spend cash on on fifa points for top rateds.... my defenders idly watch as they get passed up right in front of them. So frustrating!!!

When I attack, I play possession football but then the opponent has all his defenders and midfielders in the 18 yard box. At this point I have no clear shot on goal. I recycle the ball try again but the defence gets congested again.

@@jordanaslam7062 I quit. A game is supposed to be fun. But losing 20 games or more in a row. And it is impossible to take a penalty, always way over. Simple goal making does not exist. I made space on my ps5 for another game.

I've played FIFA since it was released on the Sega Megadrive/Genesis. I still lose 80% of my games online. It's not that I suck, it's that there are so many one-trick pony players that are over-aggressive and once they get the ball it just goes to their fastest player to try get a cheap counter-attacking goal. Nothing wrong with that, but in every version of fifa there has been a way to exploit a couple of moves in Fifa to win an average percent of your games with. The only problem is 1. it makes gameplay boring and 2. if you come up against someone else who plays that style, it's a game of Spy vs Spy.

I have a huge problem with my wingers and my strikers. They just dont make any fucking runs. And if they do make runs they just get body blocked by 2 defenders. Other times I just get body slammed to the ground. I can't skill past them cause it literally doesn't do shit. I can't make any through balls either since it only work 1/10 times. Idk what to do.

Change the instructions to make them use a different position. Have them make overlapping or inverted runs instead. IF you put it on Stick to Wing then it will just straight line all the time and the CPU and basic players will know where to put their defenders. With an overlapping run they still know where to be when the ball comes in, but you have two options to get out of the way. Inside or outside and you can feint either way. Also, try the L1->Triangle lobs. They are super powerful this edition. Takes a litle getting used to aiming it on the right side of the player but 90% of the time they beat the defender.

Sorry bro but saying others are rushing the attack is bullshit. The reason I try to pass through the lines quickly and can’t build up play is because I get pressed so much when I’m In possession I literally can’t find a pass before having the ball took off me. It’s nothing to do with being poor at the game either because I’ve been decent at every other fifa before 23, explain that to me.

Just because you are good in one game doesn't automatically guarantee you will be good in the next, you have to learn the nuances of the new game and add them into this one, you see that we are not rushing or forcing things and cut through people

You literally can't lose possession in 23 if you do 3 things. 1. always pass facing the direction. Never with back to target. This is auto-lose. 2. always turn into space when receiving the ball. When you get pressured there is always 2-3 directions to can move. Just make sure that your first touch when getting the ball moves you away from the pressuring player. Once you get the hang of this you will tire out your other team by 45minutes and can stomp them second half. 3. jockey. Not always with LT as that puts your back up against the player and they can slide tackle around you. Use L1+LS to strafe but always moving slightly away from the pressuring player. This gives you just enough time to lay off a ball when you need to. Otherwise you will just turn, lose ball, start chasing.

How the fuck do people attack in this game? I've got to div 1 and now I can't even find a pass or open teammate! I've changed tactics and instructions so many times and nothing works everyone just stands around getting marked and when I trigger a run that pass always gets intercepted it's so annoying
