Boyd is correct about companies posting jobs because they have to post is for "compliance reasons." This happened to me three months ago. I was a contractor from a placement agency with a Houston-area bank. The bank decided to make me a permanent hire. My new supervisor told me HR was going to post the job for about 24 hours. This was done so I could go online and apply for the job. After my application was submitted, the job was taken off the bank's website.

You are very correct. When I apply for job be it on LinkedIn or indeed or where ever I don't never get the job but my IT job now, I was contacted by the recruiter and that landed my job

I am asking because everything was pointing at people living in the USA. I'm a Nigerian, living in Nigeria. I just signed up for the Qualys Training and Certification and I plan on continuing to pursue a career with DoD. I am currently a Systems Engineer for a program but would like to get into Information and Data Security. Will the Qualys Certification be beneficial?
