I would truly appreciate a video on melasma. I'm 100% sure tones of women out there would love it too.

I had a phenol peel (!) around my eyes- and it was the best thing I ever did. Very painful, a lot of downtime, but what an effect. It also lasted literally for decades.

Things to consider when researching laser treatments: 1. Past a certain level of acne scars, you will never achieve perfect skin texture. Please, weigh this with your budget. At best, these procedures can give you a 30% reduction in scarring. At worst, it will do nothing. That's about $500-2000 wasted. 2. The depth and texture of your scarring dictate what laser you can use. For more topical scarring, resurfacing does a decent job. For moderate to severe ice pick scars, you will need fillers. No laser currently goes deep enough to effect moderate to severe ice pick scars. 3. None of these effects are permanent. That's right, you HAVE to return to the office every month to 2 months. These procedures do not fix, they alleviate the appearance for a short duration. As someone who has struggled with anxiety and stage 4 aggressive acne, I've done everything there is: vampire facial, IPL, Erbium laser, CO2 Laser, Microneedling etc. I even have my own regimen at home to supplement my treatments from the clinics. However, my skin will never be perfect. This is after 5 years of continuous treatments and meticulous home care. Why? The level of acne I had has scarred my skin to a level that can't be fixed unless I do invasive surgery or fillers. Fortunately, if I continue getting maintenance work from the clinic and keep up with my own skincare, my scars look decent unless I am tired or dehydrated. When I'm tired, you can see everything. Hope this helps. The main thing is to have a healthy level of expectation. Some of us are lucky and have scarring that can be fixed straightaway by these procedures. The rest of us will need actual surgery to even come close to perfect.

Great video! I just had a Pixel laser treatment this week which is like a mini-Fraxel, it definitely stimulates the collagen and makes my skin look younger!

Fraxel is amazing for cleaning up the skin. Wish I had done this particular treatment sooner.

Incredible informative video I can’t wait to follow up with the Melasma theme because I would like to make sure if my problem came from a treatment that I had it was a photo something I really don’t remember but I went to spa because my husband gave me a gift card for a massage but I don’t like massages so I went there and I told them that I have a tear on my right bottom eye 👁 and I put makeup on and it was there not matter what so they told me about that treatment and I didn’t notice any changes but I saw that the spot was bigger instead of help me I felt that I had more pigmentation than before but I never went back because after that those brown spots appeared like all over my cheeks so I am very interested in your next video and definitely I have combo dark spots or melasma and red and blue thinning veins on my entire face so I needs to find a good dermatologist to find out what’s my problem and treat it right thanks so much for your info I am not a fan of the micro needling either but I know that aging skin is part of our life but we need to do those simple steps to protect our skin because wrinkles are normal 🤷🏻‍♀️👍🏻👋🏻👌🏻
