Hey guys..
In this video i have showed you guys how to make your own baby wrap.
If you check the market, infant carriers are so expensive. Thats when i researched about making one and with a help of few youtube videos I made one and it was a huge success.
I have shared the entire process step by step. This DIY baby wrap/carrier will be useful if you have 2 or more kids too as you can be hands-free after placing the baby in the wrap.

Your video is very helpful. I like how you did this. My only concern is this would not work on a newborn because there is no head support.

You can actually pull the bit of cloth on your shoulder over the new born’s head for neck support. You can see this in videos by other people on KZfaq (you can search for sari kangaroo wrap)

Baby carriers are better for a 2 yr old because this method might get a little heavy for the care giver as the baby grows up 🙂

My baby is 2 months old and I carry him like this. If you’re baby seems to be comfortable, and if you’re comfortable , you can give it a try :)

Hi , till how many months can we carry baby like this ? Will it be useful for 8m old ? How long can we carry ,like hours per day ? And when do u recommend to carry ,for a house wife and a working mom from home

Hello! How many months you’re able to carry totally depends on your baby and how comfy he/she is in the wrap. For my little one I did this method only for the first few months .. once he was old enough I switched over to the normal baby carrier.. I used this for the first three months as new born carriers are so expensive .. it’s always best to maximum keep your baby in the wrap for juts an hour and give breaks often so that their hips can move around .. you can do a lot of “1 hour” slots but make sure you give enough breaks inbetween.. baby carriers are useful when you want to go out for a walk or buy something from the store , drop off and pick up from school if you have older kids and you can also wear your baby if they are cranky and nothing seems to calm them down

Better to use baby carrier if baby is heavy .. if baby and yourself are comfy, you can surely try 😊

I tried this, This is good technique though it works only for 30 mins & not more than that my baby got the red marks or prints from the folded cloth near her thighs , so I would not recommend this technique & suggest to use a well designed baby carrier only after the babies head is fixed to avoid any injury or chronic damages which is after 4 months

Yes .. this method can be used when baby is too clingy .. when you really need to get things done but baby is awake .. as long as baby is comfortable , we can use it .. at any point , it starts to get uncomfortable you can always stop using it .. just a method we can try during the initial days as there are no normal rated infant carriers available .. that’s all 😊

Hello thank you the video was helpful But a suggestion please don't give baby nipple always tat might give pain to their jaws coz I suffered a lot giving it to my elder son

Yes you can.. make sure to use it only if you feel the baby is comfy(not for a long time) .. some babies might not enjoy a carrier while most of them do .. and pls make sure you wrap it right 😊
