I consider myself quite knowledgeable about betting and horse racing but this is highly confusing.... can you post an example of a race you did this system in and what bets you did and profit and loss etc

considering bookies are out there to make a profit, its going to be impossible to find races where all 20 horses give you cheaper liability than what the bookie pays out, even with the advantage of an extra place. some horses are easily £10 QL on £10EW. I don't place bets on more than 2 or 3 horses per race, if you had one horse per race its possible to win every single one, with multiple horses thats not possible, therefore with multiple horses your overall implied odds are reduced. You will need more races and more time by placing bets on one horse only which is why I am happy to find a balance between eroding my odds and increasing the number of payouts.

how do you keep your qls low enough to make it profitable? when i am looking at the extra place matcher on a race of 5 horses using 10 e/w stakes the total of all those qls is about £25 and then the extra place profits range from £13-16 with only one at around £30 ? So unless you hit the highest odds horse you would be at a loss of approx £6 or 7 surely? is this only possible on specific races or taking advantage of price drifts or what? Appreciate any advice you can give :)

How often does that happen? Do you need to arb like a maniac to get an account shut down or does it happen inevitably after some arbing? Thanks!

Am i correct in saying that you don't just use the QLs that are initially shown on Oddsmonkey. (as they seem to range from 3 to 100 when 1st listed (from day before ). Are you saying you have to await for the near off of the race before certain horses odds come in, which will bring down the QL ? then you jump in ? Could you please confirm this please. TW

I don’t know how you can make money by playing every horse in the race..for instance a 20 horse race..you will win on one horse..and take a loss on 19 horses..

If you betting on every horse and the favourite wins then you are taking a big loss.

How compliicated is this,? With matched betting it seems you have to walk the whole way around the block just to get next door. for goodness sake why dont you just identify one horse that will run at the back and odds will drift, you then cash out for a guaranteed profit, thats so much easier than all this nonesense about using several bookmakers in your example if I did use £1,000 stake it would actually be my liability in the lay market, so lets say there is an 11/1 , digital odds so its 10/1 in old money, I lay for £100, the horse as expected is held up at the back, its odds drift out to 15/1 in the first 30 seconds, I cash out, for £34 profit, simple!!! How do I know its going to run at the back? I use a couple of free websites that tell me it has done this for the last 5 or 10 runs, it is a lot lot easier than what you matched better do...goodness me, you guys are making hard work of it all.

There is no way the mathematical odds set can be defied to back every horse. Best way to back the whole field is NOT to back any horse, save your 1k betting bank and use it to buy KFC family buckets for great many times, to satisfy yourself !
