for all you dummies asking what ski this is the specs are in the description and the answer is aftermarket as you cant buy that ski. the engine alone is 8,500 dollars and the hull alone is between 5,000 and 8,000 dollars. carbs are 1,400 dollars. exhaust is 1,500 dollars. the ignition system is 1,600 dollars. the pump is 2,000 dollars. add it up and that between 19,500 and 22,500 dollars and thats just for the things he listed.

Step 1: Buy a stand-up Jet-Ski. Step 2: Spend twice as much money as you did in Step 1 on after-market parts. Step 3: Take the motor from the ski you bought in Step 1 and install it in all the parts you bought in Step 2. Step 4: Follow the advice in this video.

Hi Mike, in order to backflip longer Rickters hulls such as FS-1 or FS-2 you might need little more power than if you would use smaller after market skis as EME Q8 - Aerial 8 - Micro or Rickter -XFR - XFS -XFS Ninja. I tested couple of long Rickters with 1000cc engines with Power Factor exhausts and they flipped OK. Take Care VAC

i am considering buying a aftermarket hull and engines etc etc. but are those hull still capable of doing some straight running around 50 knots in some chops like the superjet and sxr with say example a wet pipe or so. i know the backflip capable skis have more power, but i am talking about the hull. how will it handle in normal driving in sea etc.

I have a 750sx with a bored out 900sx engine that is also rebuild. I also have a very low end prob 46mm carb and a factory pipe, and footholds. Is it possible for me to do a flat water backflip or barrel roll with this set up?

Pretty sure a stock SJ is far too heavy for a flip on flat water. I've seen it done in surf though. However, after you stink a few thousand $ into the SJ it's possible on flat water if your a pro or just awesome at life. X-Scream put the mods on my SJ and the guy who water tested my ski did a back flip for me, he was on team x-scream at the time. Personally, I think the SJ is a great ski but If you have $20-30k to drop on a x-scream rig or something similar i'd probably just go that route. I was lucky enough to try out one of their machines during my water test but i was far too nervous to try anything on someone else's $30,000 jet ski. I don't recommend doing what i did though, I ended up selling my SJ because i fell in love with the X-Scream after just one ride.
