Yesss my cats are indoor cats but I want to incorporate safe ways to take them outside cause they deserve to experience that too! Lol just, with my supervision 😅 I’ll definitely watch your videos to help when I start to train them for that!

These are so helpful! Would you maybe think about making a video discussing the health aspect of taking your cat out like that? Like vet visits and maybe talk about some of the best food and litter brands to keep them healthy

@@travelcatmom yes thank you! My biggest question is about the vet visits. I know you should take them in regularly, but when they go out often should they be seen more often? And are there any preventative measures to take to prevent things like worms or fleas? And I know they shouldn't be bathed too often with soap and water since it can dry out their skin but do they need bathing more often when going outside? And if so whats the best soaps to use so they don't get dry irritated skin. I also have a hard time knowing what brands to feed my cats so I know what they are consuming is good for them. And I know traditional clay cat litter isn't very good for them either so I was wondering basically what products you get for them so yoh know they are at their healthiest.

@@travelcatmom sorry that was a lot but as a kid our pets were never really well taken care of so im a little uneducated in this stuff. Ive tried doing some research on my own but everyone seems to have differing opinions I don't even know where to start and I've watched a LOT of your content and I can tell you're super knowledgeable about cats 😁

Im a student without a car and to take my cat to the vet I have to use a bike. (Taking a taxi is too expensive, walking is too far and asking someone to drive me is quite impossible since my friends also don't have cars and relatives live too far away). I decided that a backpack would be the best way to transport my cat and it would be also nice to take it on walks. Is it likely that the cat won't be afraid of the backpack, even if I use it once a year to take the cat to the vet instead of on a daily walk?

Thank you for having pointed out all the mistakes I have made with my precious little kittie at 5 months old. 1st time cat dad here. Have always had more with dogs than cats, ''despite never having my own. So I'm a real green horn. We were going for a visit to her cat sister last Sunday. She has gotten used to her harness. But getting her into the back pack was a different story. Got her in her leash when out of the apt. Asked her if she wanted to walk with me down the 4 floors downstairs. she refused. wanted to go back in my flat. lifted her up, and put her in her safe back pack with more ease. Praised her, and got her a treat. Other than that, i may have made a mistake or two in the past. But i always try to associate her travel pack with treats and play. Perhaps if we got her a new back pack which is actually new, not old and used, and not very balanced as we have.

So yeah....i know you said not to force them buuuuut what if you're in a situation where you have to take them with you because no one can watch or care for them? I have to take a 9 hour flight, and he has to come with me, so how do i get him to be okay with backpack flying safely and less stressful for him? Please help. I'm short on options and only have a month to get him ready and truth be told I am panicking

Lol. Relax. A month is plenty of time to get your cat used to the backpack. No worries. It's normal if the car is a bit nervous at first. The only thing needed is love care and empathy. In a month time you can easily build it up step by step.

@@chrisqueen3809 It's a great backpack! I would definitely recommend for smaller cats. My cat is over 15 pounds and barely fits in it so I will have to upgrade at some point. Other than that, I love it!
